Warning: This is long because I kinda just went, a murder attempt by the Three Stooges, Grim being a cute but asshole cat, Crowley being kinda reasonable (just a little), (Name) having sass

We stood in the library I once ran into and first met Crowley, searching through copious amounts of books. It reminded me of when I went to the library to study for school, it was comforting in a way.
"Just as I'd suspected. Nothing." Crowley said sadly placing the book he was holding back on its shelf. I sighed feeling empty after all of the things that happened today.
"Not only is your homeland not listed on any map from any point in history. Now, are you QUITE sure that you come from such a place? That wasn't some sort of lie, or jape?" He asked me making me sigh again.
"I think you'd be able to tell if I was lying or not. Magic and all that jazz." I muttered putting the book I was holding back on its shelf. I could hear Crowley chuckle at what I said.
"Then the only explanation is that you've come from another planet. Or perhaps you were summoned here from another dimension?" He said as I turned to him.
"Probably another dimension, I don't remember getting in a spaceship," I responded mostly jokingly but Crowley seemed to take me seriously. I couldn't help but chuckle at the man's serious expression as he thought.
Crowley perked up seeming to have a thought
"Show me everything that you brought here with you. Do you have some form of identification, a driver's license perhaps?" He asked as I looked at myself, my mind seemed to run to find everything I had on me that was originally mine.
I didn't even have my phone or my license. Now that I think about it, all of my personal items were left in my school bag the night before my first day of school. I tried to think about it the next day. I obviously lived it, I had to. I remember that was the day I saw the carriage, I had my uniform on.
But everything after and before that was a blur. Muddy and faint, like it was deep underwater.
I shook my head, realizing Crowly was still waiting for an answer.
"Well, this is quite the predicament." He exhaled looking into my eyes. His eyes were serious and glowed softly as they stared at me.
"I cannot have someone with no aptitude for magic bumbling about my magic academy." He finally said making me look at my feet. I felt Crowley's claws run along my cheek before grasping my chin and lifting it.
My eyes meet his again, the cold glow that was once in his eyes turned warm.
"And yet, as an educator, I loathe expelling a young person without a cent to their name, or any ability to contact their guardian..." He said softly as I felt my heart start to beat faster.
"Truly, my grace is boundless," Crowley arrogantly smirked, and there that goes. I signed annoyed at this man now, making me swat his hand away from my face. He would say something so sweet and then go and ruin it.
"What did you have in mind?" I asked hopefully. Even though he ruined the sweet moment, there was still hope for my ass. Crowley thought for a moment before smirking.
"Hmmmmm... Ah!" He snapped his fingers, his gold claws clinking together.
"There is a vacant building on this campus. It was, in fact, used as a dorm a long time ago. With proper cleaning, it should be habitable enough. Out of the profound kindness of my heart, I will allow you to live there for the time being." Crowley bragged making me think. That sounded too good to be true. there had to be a catch of some kind.
