(Boruto's Pov)
"And that's what happened." Hima looked amazed by the story I told her. Well, you couldn't say it was fake, all I did was telling her what happened these days. "I don't know how to tell you, Big Brother, but you live in a telenovela..." "Oy! I remember telling you to not make fun of me if i tell you what happened!" She giggled a little then hugged me tight, careful not to touch my wound. "I was kidding! Poor you, Big Brother... You have a horrible luck when it comes to love..." "I wish to have at least a horrible luck, but I feel very unlucky..." She looked at me and smiled. "But still, you'll always be the best Big Brother!" "Oh, am I? Well, good to know at least I 'attracted' one girl." We both were laughing at this point. Maybe Hima was right... I should just move on.... Easier to say than to do. "Himawari! Boruto! Time for dinner! Come downstairs!" Mom called us. We look at each other, still smiling. "I know I told you and stuff....but mom doesn't need to know, okay?" "I promise I will not tell anyone about this!" I started tickling her before going downstairs, with her helping me with the stairs. Sarada.... If he is the one you choose.... All i can do from now on is to respect your decision.
(Sarada's Pov)
"- so I said, that's not a chicken anymore, that's more of a dog!" I started laughing at Seiko's joke. After Boruto left, he came to my house, then we went outside for a walk. I was having a great time, but my thoughts were still at Boruto and his sad face when he heard the conversation. I know I was stupid for even
answering the call after knowing who calls. "Hey, you okay, Sarada? You're spacing out." "Ah, am I? Sorry, I just had something on my mind." "You had him on your mind, am I correct?" I look at him surprised. 'Even if it is so, I won't tell you' I thought. "No, why asking so sudden? And who are you referring to? You know, I have more guy friends." "Sarada, I know you know who I'm referring to. That stupid banana hair." I had to stop myself from bursting into laughter. For sure Banana hair was going to be his next nickname, but I still didn't like the fact he called him stupid. "But what's between you two? You barely know each other." "Well, I just dislike him. I was asking him about you and he just harshly refused and punched me!" Wait, what? Seiko asked about me?! Oh, I have a lot to talk with Boruto, but now's not the moment.
"Now now, I don't like the way you're talking about him. Try getting along. He's a sweet and kind person. I've known him for my entire life! Could you two do that?" I ask him, his eyes getting darker and colder. But then he smiled and kissed my hand. "Anything for the girl I love." I could feel my body getting way warmer than usual. 'He said it! He said it! He said it!'
"Me? The girl you like? How so?" I ask, with happiness enveloping my entire body. "Well, you're cute, beautiful and smart, there's nothing more to ask from a perfect girl." He got close and kissed my forehead. "It's getting late, I shall take you home."
The entire way home was so short, I thought that it only lasted seconds. He then left waving his hand at me. I go inside the house only to find my mother waiting at the door. "Sarada~~~ who's the guy?~~" My face heated up. She started laughing. "Don't laugh mom!" "Sorry, sorry, I couldn't help it. You know, for a long time I really thought Boruto was going to be your boyfriend. You guys know each other better than anyone and I can see how much he cares about you."
I could feel guilt feeling every fibre in my body. "Well... I'd rather not talk about this right now. I'm going to my room." I said.
(Boruto's Pov)
We were eating dinner. All of the family. Dad managed to come earlier so he could spend time with us. "So, Boruto, how are you feeling? Is your back getting any better?" I looked at him a bit surprised, than I remembered that It could've been impossible to not know what happened from either mom or Aunt Sakura. I wanted to answer him when suddenly my phone buzzed. I looked at it only to find a message that was going to either put me or the red bastard in place. 'come to the senju park at 8 in the evening. We'll finish this how we should've already.' I closed my eyes tired. He doesn't know about my injury and I can't just say no, I'll look like a coward. "Boruto are you okay? You didn't even touch your food." "I'm not hungry.... I'm going upstairs, thank you for the food."
It was almost time. I made sure that the little dummy I used to train on was going to cover me up until I finish meeting up with him. I opened the window and left. As I was walking down the streets, I look on the right only to find Sarada's house, with the lights on in her room. She looked out the window and I jumped in a bush, hoping she didn't see me. After she got in again, I continued my way to the park. 'You wanna settle things? I'll make sure you'll never stay close to her....'
