We all try and shoot down as many as we can but there are too many.
"We need to evacuate!" I say.
Hank looks at me like I'm crazy, "and leave the ship?"
I Goliath throws a rock directly through the wall next to us and the ship wobbles.
I look around the hanger where people are still mowing down the monster outside, "All of us have jet-packs we could fly to that roof." I point to the nearest building as a Kraken smashes into it.
"We don't have a choice Hank!" Says Maggie.
"You guys stay here and keep of the Krakens, Maggie your with me." I say going off to the bridge.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Asks Makrov.
"To get Cabot." I say already heading off.
"and Daisy." Corrects Maggie.
Daisy is Maggies pet Trap-jaw. She got it when she was a kid so no one would bully her.
"So Maggie, where's Daisy?" I ask while running.
"Cabots looking after her." She says.
"Both in the same place, that's easier." We sprint to the bridge.
Balm
I kick down the door, and Carbot is hiding behind the control desk with his Grenade-launcher. There is something else in the room, a smashed hole in the huge glass window, and a stage3 Goliath. Its mouth turns redder and brighter as it fills with flames. We duck down behind the table just in time because the fire burns the table in front of us.
"How the heck did that get in here?" I say over the crackling of the scorching flames.
"Hmm, I don't know Valery. Maybe it took a taxi!" Says Cabot sarcastically.
I roll my eyes, "We need to take it out, where's Daisy?" I say speaking for Maggie.
"She ran in there," He says nodding to a door to our left.
"Maggie, how many traps you got." I look at her trying to make the most if this situation.
She looks through her bag, "A full mobile arena and 10 harpoon traps."
"That's not gonna stop that thing!" Says Cabot.
I stare at him angrily, "Oh, well let me go buy some more!"
Maggie takes some traps out of her bag, "No, save them for later." I say holding my hand out at her.
We hear a sound that sounds like squeaking, growling and purring at the same time, Daisy. The bridge shakes more as the Goliath stomps towards Daisy's hiding place. Cabot picks up his rail gun and presses it to the back of the metal bench he was leaning against. Barrel to metal, he shoots.
The sound was almost silent and a gunshot sounded from the other side of the room. The Goliath turned, just long enough for Daisy to run out the door. Followed by Cabot and I. Maggie stood up slowly and ran. But not fast enough. The Goliath swipes at her leg, she falls over and lands just out the door way. The Goliath try's to fit through the door but it's shoulders are too big. Maggie looks into its eyes as it howls in pain and anger. Maggie pulls out a lager gun and shoots a harpoon down the beasts throat. The end of the harpoon penetrates the back of its neck. The beast head falls to the ground in the door way. Dead at last.
