Chapter 3

Riley’s POV

          I was dropped off in front of The Ritz, one of the nicest hotels in Europe. I quickly fix myself and then eagerly walk in. “Um hi, do you have any rooms available for the night.” Wow Riley way to sound confident, not. “Yes but unfortunately the only room available is the Royal Suite and its $1000 a night, will that be okay.” She said. Another doubter. “That will be perfect.” Her jaw literally hit the floor when I handed her three thousand dollars in cash. “I hope you don’t mind if I pay for an extra two nights.” “That’s perfectly fine mam and can I offer you any of our spa options.” She practically choked out. “NO thanks.” She handed me my keys and told me to press the P8 button in the elevator.

          I grabbed my stuff and ran over to the elevator just before it closed. I got so many awkward stares, jes can’t people mind their own business, it’s not like the haven’t seen a 18 year old girl, alone, heading up to her Royal Suite. Okay, so maybe it does sound a little weird. The elevator open and I had to immediately put my key in.

             I stepped in………………………. HOLY CRAP. This place was fucking amazing when they saw royal they really meant it. I walked in to the middle of a large sitting area furnished with 5 couches, yes five that’s how big it was. There was a door that led out to a huge grand balcony. There was a separated room for the kitchen and another for the dining room, 2 bedrooms, and them and this is the best part the master bed room, and that tub OMG I’m not even going to start with the tub. Okay fine it had JETS. It was basically a hot tub. I ran and jumped on the bed, I should have left sooner. My body practically molded to the bed. I was so tried it wasn”t long before I drifted off to sleep.

           KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. Oh that’s probably Justin coming to get me up, yay. “I’m coming give me a second!!!!” I screamed. “Um mam, your complimentary breakfast is here.” A confused voice called back. Mental slap, I was in London stupid me. “Oh sorry, coming.” I quickly replied. I open the door and there’s a delicious looking eggs benedict on the tray. “Have a nice day mam.” She says handing me the plate. I ate up. Okay time for a run. I ran around for a few blocks till i saw it, a for sale sign,and man were these apartments nice. I called the number. Turns out the apartment was fully furnished and wouldn't be on the market long so of course in my rush to settle in and move on I bought it. I went back to the hotel and packed up. Time to move out. I dropped the keys of at the front desk. "Mam what about the other two nights, we can't give out refunds." The receptionist said. "Thats fine keep the money." I replied.

                 I got to the apartment late and throw everything off mine on the floor rushed upstairs and jummped on to the bed, so comfy, I think I'm going to be happy here. Now time to face the problem my mate. He was somewhere here in London. Okay i get it londons big but with the mate bind anything is possible. The thought of my mate made my wolf howl, she wanted him to be here, she wanted to be in his embrace. I couldn't though, i have been hurt to much and i don't want it to happen again, besides this move was to really help me find myself not be concerned about a boy. I quickly fell into a deep sleep.

           OMG, I bought an apartment, YESTERDAY! I quess the excitement of a new place got the best of me. I have unpacked all my clothes. I walk over to the dresser and pull out some shorts and a t-shirt. I go down stairs to the kitchen that opens up to the living room. I had some complimentry fruit from the Ritz. What, it was free. Its not like i was going to leave it. On the way out i slip on some beat up tennis shoes. On the way back from my run i'll stop by a grocery storeI walk out.

               Thats when i hear the yelling coming from the slightly ajared door on the other side of the hall. "Get your filthy, disgusting,cheating paws off me. I don't ever want to see your face again." Came a female voice from inside the room. "Babe you don't mean that, you know you can't resist me, your wolf won't let you leave me." This one was a male voice and what a ass. Wait did he just say wolf?!?! I had to get a closer look. "Like hell i can, you filthy bastard. How could you cheat on me wiht that blond bitch." The girl with oragne hair like flames that fell down here back, she was pretty, and not much older than me you could tell. The guy look taken aback and was about to say something when the girl snapped, "save it, I reject you  Alpha Ethan Black , On don't give me that look. If you care you wouldn't have slept wiht the bitch. So this is easier for me, I, Lily Andrews am no longer a member of the Eclipse Pack." "Lily no, please I'm sorry, was drunk and thought it was you." Ethan pleaded. I could tell this girl LIly was torn at first but as quickly as her guard failed it cameback up. "Get out of my apartment, and better yet stay out of my life." Ethan whimpered  but he was listening to her and slowly there were heavy footsteps heading towards the door. OH CRAP,  time to hide. I ran back in to my room, thank the goddess i left it open, so they wouldn't think i was spying. There was a pause and then footstep traveling down the hallway.

           I quickly run over to Lily's room. I notice her crying slightly but she quickly wipes the tears away. She then giggles, strange. "You must be the neighbor sorry we had to meet like this, guys can he asses huh, I'm Lily and you are......?" She asks. "Riley Carter and before we becomes best friends like i hope we will be, i have to say that i know your a werewolf." She stiffened at this. "I can explain." She crys. "NO, you see i'm one too." i anwser before she has a chance to explain herself. She gives off a sigh of relief. "Well why didn't you say that in the first place. You nearly gave me a heart attack darling." She breathed. "So about what just happened im really sorry it didn't workout between you and your mate." i sayin a low simpathetic voice. "No need to behe was a ass, before we found out we were mates he was a huge player, it was my fault to believe that he would accually change his ways just because he found his mate." She said sadly. Riley think of something quick. "Hey you want to go for a run with me, i was just about to leave when i heard yelling but im still up for it." I asked nicely,smiling to prove i realy wanted her to come. "Sure, just let me change." And that is how i met my best friend Lily.
