Running up to the cellar opening the old dark wooden closet, inside the keys of my room and every door's in the house. I could feel the relief spilling in my heart. Then I heard it. Slow steps up the stairs. He was in the house. I could feel the floor trembling and the blood pool outside running into a river to my front door. Was I going to die? So early? Was anyone gonna save me? What about the boy I've met, Rowan. Was he nearby? I was in the dark closet covering my mouth so my breath wouldn't break the silence for one more time. Cold tears running down my face to my cheeks, nose, hands, lips. My eyes closed tightly once again. I could hear his footsteps coming closer and closer every second. I was suffocating for air but I wish I have suffocated to death. The silence was so loud and the footsteps faded away. I heard a scream and a loud sound followed. It was a woman. I could hear her body getting dragged on the floor. Another voice entered and broke the silence. A man knocked down the door and burst into the house. For the next moment, I couldn't tell what was happening. I was focused on the silence and its deepness. As my vision blacked out I could hear mumbled screams and glasses breaking.

Wishing it could have been just a dream I got out of the closet. It was 3 am. I couldn't hear any screams or footsteps or blood spiling down the stairs to meet the river on the front door. Just completely hugged by silence I opened the cellar door. Red. I could see bloody handprints on the walls, doors, floor. I could see my house flooded with blood but nobody left nearby. Weird, isn't it. I slowly walked down the hall. The lights barely working. The mirror at the end of the hall was dirty and showed the darkness and fear behind me and in my eyes. I could for one more time see blood on the mirror frame dragged on the side leading in the bathroom. I walked slowly towards the end of the hall trying to remain calm. I was having flashbacks of that one night, the same walls filled with blood, although now, it was everywhere. As much as I got closer I could feel my soul melting away. Standing now in front of the bloody mirror, I stopped. I could see a figure behind me at the end of the hall. It had a white face and was dressed all black. I freeze. I could see it behind me and it was getting closer. As my eyes widened, before I could take another breath he was behind me. I gasped. I was shaking from head to toe. I could feel his breath steaming hot and see his eyes through the mask. I held deadly eye contact with him, suddenly I broke the silence, I screamed, and before I knew it I was on the ground and my vision went all black.
