This is a step-by-step chapter of how to clean a cage!:
take the guinea pigs out. I kept the box I brought them home in and that's what I lit them in. You could also put them in a playpen or set them on a towel on your bed if they don't move a lot like my guinea pig, Peanut
- take the roof off and the sides but before that, if you have a ramp take that off. Then take the food and water dish out along with any toys and the hideaway house. Take the hay rack off as well.
pick up the bottom of the cage and dump all the old bedding into a garbage bag.
- if there is any poo or bedding left use the mini dust pan and scrap it out.
wash the bottom of the cage with soap and hot water. Spray the wire part of cage with pet safe cleaning spray.
- wash the ramp and the second floor.
 dry everything off.
- clean the water bottle by using a q-tip to get inside the nozzle. Clean the food dish as well.
place the bottom of the cage back where it belongs.
- fill the bottom of the cage with bedding.
add some hay to a corner.
- place your fleece down where you want your hideaway house and put the house on top.
 refill the water and food.
- place the roof and sides back on.
 put the ramp back in.
- place the food and water dish where they belong.
 put back toys.
- drop a couple treats in!
place the guinea pigs gently in the cage.
