Katie's POV:

I was walking out with the last of the empty boxes when a man came up to me. "Hey, need any help?" He asked with his hand on his hips.

"No these are the last ones but thanks" I said putting them in the trailer. "Are you the knew neighbor? I live right over there. " He asked pointing to the yellow house next to mine.

"Oh! Hey I'm Katie!" I said taking his hand and shaking it. "Hi!" I heard my mom's voice from the front door as she walked out and shook his hand aswell.

"Hey I'm Steve Maryweather, but people call me Mary." He said smiling down at us. "Nice to meet you, I'm Linda Mitchell." MY mom said smiling back up at him.

"Hi there! I'm Rick." My dad comes out too and shakes his hand. "This is mary" mom said smiling up at her husband. "The neighbor!" I said looking up at the too men. So tall..:'(

"Nice to meet you Mary I trust you can hold an eye on my daughter when I'm not here." Dad said jokingly. "Hehe I have a busy job, but my sister walks home im sure she'll keep an eye out for her." Mary jokes back.

"You live with your sister?" Mom asked smiling. "Yeah, shes not allowed to have an actul job. But don't tell her I told you that." Mary joked.

"Where is she now?" Dad asked. "She's out getting groceries, ounce she almost had a panic attack because the fridge was empty." He said smiling.

"My son Aaron does that too!" Dad and Mary laughed like two old dads. And i groaned in annoyence.

then I saw a Shiney black motorcycle with stickers on it. their black mad helmet also had some stickers on it. They held into the side taking of the helmet, underneath was a tired looking girl. She looked at us for a moment before standing up and walking over.

She walked over with a confused expression "Hi.." she said standing next to Mary. "Hey! Y/N this is our new neighbors! The mitchells." Mary said turning to her.

"The mitchells? Isn't that the ones that saved us from those robots?" She asked looking over at us. "Yeah that's us!" I said doing small jazz hands. Her smile btightend a little at my silliness.

"We're having a moving in grill party for Katie in two days wanna come?" Mom asked them smiling at Y/N. "Sounds fun." She said looking up at Steve. "You know what, Fuck it we're coming!" Steve said smiling even brighter.

"Well we gotta go and get those boxes in the trash. We'll let Aaron, Eric, Deborahbot, and monchi stay here okay?" Mom said kissing my cheek and looking at me while her and dad is making their way to the car. Mary and Y/N waved at them and they waved back.

"It was Nice meeting you guys!" Mary told as they drove off. "I'm gonna go in. It was Nice meeting you Katie." Mary said as he walked over to the motorcycle pulling it into the garage.

"Nice meeting you too!" I said to him as he closed the garage waving, and taking the grocery bag out of the metal basket on the motorcycle.

"Ima go in too I don't want Eric and Deborahbot to brake anything the first day In this house." I told Y/N giving her a smile. "It's fine I wouldn't want anyone braking my stuff either." She answered with a gentle smile. Before walking in, waving at me I waved back walking into my new house.
