Jane opened a set of large doors that seem so heavy a normal human wouldn't be able to open them, the door way opens revealing the throne room, where guards stood around the room and the three kinds had been sitting but what I haven't noticed that there seems to be an area above them that almost looks like an expensive looking cushion for someone to sit upon.

" Sister, " a young man walked up towards us. " They sent you to bring back one, and you brought back two and a half. Clever girl. " he kinda looks under 18 not sure, he looks relatively young like a boy, his vampire side highlights his youthful glow like Jane's. Must be the witch twins, Jane stands with the young man.

Bella watches in fascination, the room was breathtakingly beautiful made for royalty, the middle king  comes down from his throne has a giddy smile and walks up towards the group. " Ah! Bella is alive after all. Isn't that wonderful. " he holds Edward's hand, causing Bella to gasp slightly but he suddenly frowns and his eyes twitch slightly in annoyance. 

" It seems you lied to my dear Jane. You know our dear Athena, you in fact foster romantic feelings and sexual thoughts towards her... interesting, " he chuckles darkly and narrows his eyes. Growls were heard throughout the throne room but the loudest seem to be the guard that was with the tall guard earlier .

" I should kill you for thinking such thoughts! " the blonde king yells, his anger clearing showing for his distaste for the young Cullen.

" Calm brother, allow me Isabella, may I have your hand? " Aro asks but it's more like a demand, she hesitatingly places her hands on his hands and gasps at the cold surface of his skin.

" Interesting... I see nothing, " he says but any hint of amusement is gone. ' I wonder if she is immune to all out abilities ' Aro thinks.

Edward throughout this, has been feeling exposed, he thought if he hadn't thought about Thena in that way in a long time, to his surprise Aro was still able to hear those dark thoughts and it seems his beloved Thena is well known and maybe loved in the Volturi and he does not understand why and it scares him, he knows she's powerful and does not want her taken away from him, whether it be his love for her but he does not wish to live without her. He questions himself, and asks himself why he was willing to die when he still had her, he's confused indeed. He hears Aro's thought in wanting Jane to test her ability on Bella.

"N-" Edward was about to protest when the door opened loudly gaining all the attention of everyone in the room.

Athena's POV

Carlisle messages me telling me that Edward decided to go on a suicide mission for this Human called Bella, that is claiming to be Edward's mate, I'm happy for the guy but seriously a human? Now, I can't exactly allow him to walk away unharmed, the law is hard but it is the law. Plus, what kind of idiot ignores his family, his coven for that matter, I can already tell that this Bella chick isn't his mate, his mate shouldn't be causing chaos and in Rosalie words a 'danger magnet'. 

I am now flying quickly back home to Volterra, I've come back from my mission, I have a way for vampires to procreate now, this vampire had this ability but she no longer wished to live without her mate and children, but I convinced her otherwise and she shared her gift with me.

I consumed her venom and all the others have to do is consume mine, the vampire actually has two abilities, fertility and physical shield, I convinced her to join my coven, the Volturi coven, I told her there is a vampire there that can ease her mate's bond until she meets her true mate plus, I'm sure my father will welcome her wholeheartedly, father does love gifts after all. Katherine is her name, she wanted a new name, I thought Katherine would be perfect for someone so pure-hearted yet merciless at the same time.

" We're almost home cara, you'll love it once you see it, " I tell her truthfully.

" I'm more than grateful for the second chance given to me princess, my loyalty to you shall never waver, you saved my life and accepted me and giving me a new family as well. The stories I've heard about your power and beauty were not misleading, " Katherine tells me warmly. 

" You're family Katherine, no need to call me Princess, " I laugh slightly, I see we have entered Volterra and what a sight it is to be back home, I miss the air, the breeze, the warmth and the kiss of the sun on my skin but mostly, I miss my mate Demetri, I last saw him last month but I never want to be away from my amato caro. 

I can already sense the discord in the castle, my god I leave for a year and everything goes to shit. Rosalie kept me updated with what's happening in the coven, Bella brought a whole lot of problems to my family and she craves immortality like a lunatic. I head straight towards the throne room, need to save my sweet sister and idiot of a brother.

" Time for my entrance, dear Katherine please wait outside the doors. I will call you to introduce you to my father and the other two kings, " I tell her. She nods her head understandingly.

I use my telekinesis to push open the doors loudly, making my presence known.

I enter with my head held high, pass some guards that bow before me, not that they need too. I head straight towards my idiot of a brother Edward or Edwerido as I'm calling him now for causing such a scene. I march towards him and use my telekinesis to throw him across the room.

" You stupid fucking imbecile! You fucking idiot! How can you be so fucking stupid! " I yell

I throw him across the other side of the room, whilst guards move out of the way for me to use my gift.

" Do you not have any brain at all, you made Esme cry! and made Carlisle worry! And let's not forget your genius plan of getting yourself killed! God! I leave for a year and you do the stupidest thing! " I yell again, I'm so angry, and I need to channel it by making Edward suffer for causing misery towards the coven, our coven, our family.

The guards and the kings are silent the entire time, but I am not done. I send blasts after blasts until I bring him to feet and propel him upwards so, his feet no longer touch the fall, my hands glow a blue mist as I hold him up and smile at him as I spoke. 

" Did you miss me Eddie? " I smirk. He chuckles, " hey there Thena, had your fun yet? I'm hurting all over here. Wanna let me down? " he tells me and smiles through his pain. I think about it and slam him down and cause the floor to shatter, and walk towards and lift his chin with my fingers and smirk sadistically " Not even close Eddie, you harmed my little Rose, caused Alice to panic, Esme to cry, my father figure Carlisle to question himself, Jasper to struggle with his thirst when he had great control of it, Emmett to stress and lastly, you made me destroy my this perfectly beautiful room. "

I stand up and walk away a bit and smile sweetly " But I did enjoy it, if that helps dear brother. " I wink at him and he smiles warmly at me. Suddenly a god awful smell enters my nose and approaches me and speaks like a mouth breathing really but speaks nonetheless " Who the hell are you? "  she confidently asks me.

I smirk darkly and proudly speak " My name is Athena Emilia Mikaelson Volturi, of the mighty Volturi Coven. My blood is what created the cold ones, the immortality you so desperately seek.  The Goddess of War, my King's champion. Sister to the powerful witch twins, best friend to the guardian of Volturi. Protector of the Olympic Coven, and lastly, lover, mate and wife to best tracker in the vampire world, Demetri Volturi. I'm a Volturi, show some damn respect! " I yell at her.
