chapter 17

 we got out of the car to see clown face in front of us ,henery came out full scream face mask and grabbed my arm and whispered gravely "go upstairs lock the door" he looks at me with those big eyes through the mask and quietly said "wait till i'm there don't let anyone else in" with that i ran so fast.  I raced up the stairs and locked the door immediately behind me and stepped away knowing kyle is willing and plenty capable of breaking the door down.she walked towards the back wall waiting for his voice as she heard heaving footsteps approach the door, kyle in his low sadistic voice calmly hummed  "COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE." She looked around then saw the open window she slowly climbed out of it which ended up tearing a part of the fabric she grabbed stuck it in a thorn on the side of the house realizing what she could do she then snuck back in to hide in the closet. I slowly backed up to eventually where i was just hiding in a bunch of coats in the back she locked the closet door and waited. kyle breaks the door down finally and runs to the window to see the piece of her dress torn " DAMIT DAMIT " the ran back in and headed to the woods.  Japser then sunk to the floor till henery gave the signal about five minutes later she heard loud boot stomps coming  up the stairs and peaked through the closet shades and saw him run to the window  and unlocked the closet ,running out and grabbed onto henery so tight he noticed and hugged her back in a warm embrace and took his mask off and lifted her chin with worried big blue eyes " i thought he caught you or you ran away from him thank god you okay " tears formed my eyes and i kissed him like my life depended on it, later that night we arrived at the bridge. they walked up and both noticed a very angry kyle who lunged at jasper grabbing her and pushing her a great distance from henery. i tried to fight him off but kyle had a death grip on my upper arm,once he had the advantage he pushed henery away and pushed jasper down to the ground and pinned her smiling like a monster of the shell was left of her childhood bff now a demon craving her. Henery raced over and pushed kyle off me the guys broke out in a huge fist fight ,kyle slammed henery down and garbbed me and cuffed both my wrists and it hit so fast i don't think anyone meant for what happened next kyle shoves henery and gets pushed back and the last thing i saw was being pushed back by kyle falling into me knocking me over the bridge railing and i slammed hard onto the river knocking the wind right out of me and sinking is this it was this all for nothing am i gonna die everything went black. Henery dove at kyle with his hardest blow pumbling kyle to a bloody pulp and lost a lot of blood and no movement he was a lifeless corpse in a pile of blood, henery jumps over into the heavy water and swam deep to retrieve jasper finding her trapped the cuffs hooked to a log and she was unconscious  he swam over and broke the cuffs grabbing her to shore and carrying her rushes into the car and speeds to the nearest hospital she has lost a lot of blood and took a blow to the head him speeding holding her hand as he drove "come on jasper just a little longer hold on" he brakes at the entry and grabs jasp and runs into the emergnecy room "PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME SHES BEEN BADLY INJURED AND HAS TAKEN A HIT TO THE HEAD!!!" the nurse rushed over and a swarm of nurses carry her onto a gurney and move fastly through a door stopping henery from following along. one of the nurse came out "sorry kid you wont be able to see her yet" he sunk devastated into a waiting room chair his hands in his hair. an hour later a doctor comes in with a sincere face "i'm sorry kid with her injuries and past medical complications she will die any day now" Henerys knee gave up and he hit the ground in pain and felt absolutely shattered i cant save her what have i done all i wanted to protect her. later that night he snuck back in and carried her out back to his place since the doctors refused to let him stay with her, he carried her back home and held her close as tears just poured down his usual blue eyes bloodshot and bright he knew it but he was gonna try anything he was not gonna let her die not again.
