Not Superstitious

Beep... beep...beep

The alarm goes off and I shoot up from a deep sleep to turn the sleep murderer off. It's 7:00 AM on a Friday... immediatly I think of Rebbecca  Black and that song Friday Friday gotta get down on Friday. It's not a normal Friday though, it was the 13th.

For everyone superstitious something bad or tragic would happen. I do not believe in superstition. It's a bunch of Buga Buga if you ask me.

I get up and run my hand through my mustard blonde hair and hit a tangle. I silently yelp. This isn't usual, my hair is bone staright, soft and silky. I've always wondered what it would look like curly, but my mom is what some call overprotective. I mean over EVERYTHING I do. Another reason: she says we shouldn't be selfconcited. Besides what my mother says, my waredrobe is mine.

I got dressed quickly putting on a Victoria's Secret PINK shirt, with a pair of tight skinny jeans, and a small diamond necklace to top it off. I was what some were called 'popular', and I fully intended to dress for the part.

As I applied my make-up and added the finishing touches to my apperance, my phone violently vibrated... it had never shaken so suddenly like that,

Lindsey: r u rdy yet??!?! Im waitin outside 4 u!

Lexi *me*: yea on my way!

See being popular doesn't mean you have a car, so I carpooled with my bestie, Lindsey, who was equally as popular.

I walked outside and slipped into her car. "Party at Matt's tonight, are you gonna go?", Lindsey asked, swinging her longe dirty blonde hair around. "Nah.", I replied... if looks could kill, I might be dead. "But whyyyyyy!!!!", she replied complaining. "you know my mom.... and it's Friday the 13th!!!", "I will personally drag you there!", she said with a wink. " I thought you weren't superstitious....", she said sternly. "I--i-i'm not!!".

As much as I wanted to uphold my status, I knew something would happen to me, or my group  of friends.

I am not superstitious I said to myself as I walked to my 1st hours, science... not superstitious
