"Annyeong haseyo!" Wooyoung greeted as he casually walked into Samchoon's Burgers, with Taeyeon and Yoona following behind.
"Yah, why do you guys come in at such a late hour and disturb my me time?" the store uncle whined.
"Youngie was the one who brought us here." Taeyeon pointed, sticking out her tongue at Wooyoung.
"Aish. I'm sorry! I just needed to borrow the CD player. Please?" the store uncle shrugged in response. Without another word, Wooyoung walked to the television and set up the CD player.
"Wooyoung... You know what's happening right? Please tell me." Yoona pleaded, squatting beside Wooyoung.
"I do know what's going on... but I can't tell." Wooyoung said casually, still setting up the player.
"Why? Is it something... bad?" Yoona asked, biting her lip to stop from crying again.
"I said I can't tell... but I can show you." Wooyoung said, finally standing up. Before Yoona could utter another word, the blank screen on the television lit up, showing a video recording by a evidently inexperienced cameraman. The camera then panned to face the woman Wooyoung, Taeyeon and Junho saw at the coffee shop. Taeyeon and Yoona looked at the screen with frowns on their faces, wondering what on earth was going on.
"Okay, are you ready? Let's go!" Taecyeon's familiar, cheery voice sounded from the video.
"Hi Yoona, I'm Kwon Yuri, your table partner from elementary school. I'm not sure if you remember... It's been so long since we last saw each other! I think it was when we were Year 5 before I had to change schools. Can't believe you're getting married now. Congratulations! You've definitely picked a very outstanding husband and I wish you two eternal happiness. Let's meet to catch up soon, would love to find out more about your life! See you~"
Yoona, catching on to what Taecyeon is up to, was so shocked and used her hand to cover her mouth. Taeyeon and her both looked at each other in surprise, before they sat down on the sofa set in front of the television. Taeyeon then put her arm around Yoona's shoulders. Wooyoung leaned against a pillar, watching the video as well. Yuri waved at the video, before the scene changed to a corner in a restaurant. A kind-looking ahjumma visibly in her late 50s was now shown, and her wide smile could almost reach her ears. This ahjumma was also the one Wooyoung and Junho had spotted Taecyeon with.
"Aigoo, Yoona-ah! You're getting married? I'm really so happy that you found such a good husband that treats you this well! I was definitely not expecting this because I think I haven't seen you for two decades already. But your good husband here showed me a few pictures and you've definitely grown to be such a fine lady~ Seems like ages ago when I was babysitting you! Congratulations on your wedding, I know your relationship will bring you happiness and bliss!" the ahjumma brightly said, before the video changed to yet another scene.
The screen now showed Hyuna, the hostess that Taecyeon had called at the bar. She was also smiling widely at the camera, her hands clasped together in glee.
"Yoona! I'm Hyuna, remember me? I was your neighbor before you moved house! We used to have such fun playing games like hopscotch and five stones together~ It was a pity how we lost contact after you moved house but your husband somehow managed to find me and I was really surprised! I really admire him for his dedication in doing all these for you. You've really found a good husband and I envy you."
Taecyeon's humble chuckles could be heard in the background, and Taecyeon used the camera to face himself, with his hand at the back of his neck. "Hehe, it's no problem. For Yoona, I'll do anything!"
"That's so sweet of you! Yoona, you've definitely chosen the right man! Even though I thought you would have chosen someone with better fashion sense." Hyuna said jokingly, earning a growl from Taecyeon. Both Taeyeon and Yoona were crying by now; and at Hyuna's joke, they both laughed and sniffed, wiping their tears away.
"Hehe, just kidding. I hope you guys spend the rest of your lives together in bliss, and have many many children! Congratulations on your wedding, Yoona, and let's go out together soon!" The video then came to an end after Hyuna waved at the camera.
Yoona was a complete mess because she was crying too much. She just could not stop crying; she felt so bad for completely misunderstanding Taecyeon and for even doubting his love for her. Taeyeon, who was very moved by what Taecyeon planned to do for Yoona, was also tearing, and patted Yoona on the back soothingly, before offering her some tissues. Wooyoung just smiled, waiting for the girls to compose themselves.
-Flashback begins-
"Oh my god, are you kidding me?" Wooyoung said in disbelief.
"How sweet are you going to be?" Junho exclaimed, in disbelief as well.
"So you went to all kinds of places, even a hostess bar, running around collecting videos of people whom Yoona knew, congratulating her on her marriage?"
"Well, yeah! I thought it'd be a nice wedding present that will definitely move Yoona to tears." Taecyeon said, confidently.
"How do you even manage to find those people? I mean, even Yoona herself is not in contact with some of them!" Wooyoung asked curiously.
"All I can say is, if there is a will, there is a way. All these people made Yoona who she is today, and I'm thankful to every single one of them. I want her to know that all of them have remembered her in one way or another, and also reconnect Yoona with some of the people she regretted losing touch with." Taecyeon explained. "Oh, no, look at the time! I've got to meet someone else! Bye!"
"Yah, shouldn't you be going home? Aren't you afraid that Yoona will be worried?" Junho shouted, as Taecyeon skipped away from them.
"It's okay! I really gotta do this! The wedding day is coming soon!"
Junho and Wooyoung were both speechless. His love for Yoona was truly undefeatable.
-Flashback ends-
'Taecyeon is really admirable... His love for Yoona is so great and so pure, and he never hesitates to express it. I should really learn from him in this aspect.' Wooyoung thought.
Yoona then wiped the last of her tears before getting up and facing Wooyoung. She now had a smile on her face. "Thank you, Wooyoung. Thank you."
"No problem! I hope all your doubts about marriage have now vanished. Taecyeon really loves you." Wooyoung replied, smiling back.
"I know that, and I will never doubt it again. I know the way he feels about me, and I feel the same." Yoona said with utmost confidence. Her eyes were swollen red from crying.
Seeing her best friend being more sure of her feelings, Taeyeon could not be more overjoyed. Taeyeon looked at Wooyoung, and Wooyoung caught her eye. She flashed him a grateful smile, and walked towards him wordlessly before tucking herself underneath his chin. Taeyeon then leaned her head against his chest and wrapped her arms around Wooyoung, engulfing him in a hug. Despite being a little surprised, Wooyoung's arms naturally snaked around her waist and he hugged her back, pulling her closer towards him and leaning his head against hers. He had a satisfied smile on his face.
"Yah, you two. Are you trying to make me jealous that Taecyeon isn't here?" Yoona teased after a few moments, causing the two to break apart with sheepish expressions on their faces.
"Just kidding, hehe! Sorry to ruin your moment. But let's get back to eat! You guys can do whatever you want later in the guest room, I don't mind lending it to you guys for a night." Yoona continued, causing both Wooyoung and Taeyeon's faces to turn tomato red. At the sight of Wooyoung and Taeyeon's awkwardness at the teasing, Yoona and the store uncle, who also overheard them, burst out into hearty laughter, leaving Wooyoung and Taeyeon avoiding each other's eye due to embarrassment.
