"No way."Maki stared at the tall ebony haired man that stood at the front of the classroom. The man in question looked up from the book he was reading to glance at the teenagers that filed in to the room.
"Pardon?" He asked calmly, brow raised in confusion.
Maki sat down as Panda and Inumaki followed behind her.
"I'm just saying that there's no way that you're actually our teacher now." Maki replied, eyes narrowed at him.
Panda intervened before he could say a word. "It feels weird, should we call you Sensei now?" He said.
"Salmon." Inumaki piped in, voice leaning towards a question.
"That sounds weird, Akatsuki-sensei maybe?" Panda replied, Akatsuki just stared at them in confusion.
"Right then. Yes, I am indeed your teacher now. Yaga-san told me that I shall be teaching you History in class hours then I can also assist you in combat training." Akatsuki told them.
Maki leaned back with a satisfied sigh as Inumaki and Panda's eyes widened in surprise.
"Hear that? There's actually hope for us." Maki told them, crossing one leg over the other.
"May I ask what you meant by that?" Akatsuki asked her, head tilting in question.
Maki shrugged then frowned. "What I mean by there's hope I meant that we're actually going to be taught by a teacher now. That blindfolded bastard only teaches us like, oh I don't know, twice a week?"
"Hm, well, to be fair, there's only so much that one can teach you in this kind of area. It's mostly about learning how you fight by discoveries within yourself." Akatsuki replied, leaning back to the desk behind him.
Panda started to look around, mostly out the door, simultaneously with Inumaki, as if waiting for someone to come.
"Careful, you might summon him. Speak of the devil and-"
"-he shall come, yes." Akatsuki cut Maki off, nodding in understanding.
"We must move on then. Now you must forgive me, but this is the very first time that I will ever properly teach a student, in terms of a classroom setting that is." Akatsuki told them.
Maki shrugged then leaned to her desk. Panda suddenly raised his hand politely.
"Um, yes?" Akatsuki awkwardly called him out.
"Sensei, I suggest that we can ask you questions, to start your discussion maybe." Panda suggested, Inumaki nodded in agreement.
Akatsuki nodded at the idea. "Sounds good. Ask away." He said, crossing his arms together in his chest.
The door suddenly opening caught their attention. A bored Fushiguro entered the classroom while rubbing his eyes. He walked silently towards the three then sat down beside Inumaki. He settled in his seat then looked around them questioningly.
"What did I miss?" He asked monotonously.
"Nothing yet, Fushiguro." Akatsuki replied. Fushiguro didn't say anything else.
"Oh, how about we ask about old legendary curses? There were a lot of those back then right?" Panda broke the silence in the air after Fushiguro's entrance.
Akatsuki shrugged nonchalantly. "Of course. Go on and ask." He replied.
Inumaki enthusiastically raised his hand in the air. Akatsuki nodded at him to continue.
"Sushi?" He asked. Akatsuki just stared at him, dumbfounded.
Fushiguro sighed at his confusion. "He's asking about the Great Pacific Curse." He supplied.
