The love I never noticed

Prologue

Once there was a gem. A gem who was going through pain. Pain so deep, that no one had ever experienced. Abandonment. A gem who almost destroyed planet earth in revenge to the person who hurt her. A gem who got redeemed by her savior. That gems name was spinel.

Spinel was a young gem, abandoned by the who was supposed to be there for her. Driven by denial and rage, she had set a plan to destroy planet earth and take her revenge out of the person who replaced her beloved pink diamond and abandoned her. But her plans where foiled and broken down by the crystal gems.

The crystal gems are a group of rebels who fought for many years for freedom and peace on earth. Pink diamond who was formally Rose quartz, faked her own shattering to save her planet from the ruins of the diamonds themselves. Blue Diamond, Yellow Diamond, and White Diamond.

Years after the war, Rose and the rest of the crystal gem stayed on earth. Protecting it from any dangers. But while protecting earth, there was love and lots of confused emotions. So rose quartz become Steven Universe, the saviour of the universe. Him along with the crystal gems, continued to protect earth from any dangers that came to harm it.

The other gems that were apart of the crystal gems were, Garnet, pearl, and amethyst. Garnet was a fusion between a Ruby and a sapphire. Pearl was once a loyal companion of Rose, She help Rose fake her own shattering. And Amethyst, she was made in a kindergarten and was found by Rose. After the war, Steven came along and helped the crystal gems in all of their missions. At the time, he was only a child and he didn't know how to maintain his powers by himself.

But with the help from his friends, he slowly managed his powers and gained full control over them. As Steven grew older, the missions became harder and the enemies came faster. But him and the crystal gems defeated them all, including the diamonds and their plans to destroy earth.

After the final battle with the diamonds, everyone had their happily ever after. Steven found other gems and helped them get on their feet by creating little homeworld. All types of gems went to school and had homes to live in, thanks to Steven. But soon their happily ever after was almost destroyed by Spinel, who had plans to destroy everything and everyone on earth.

Steven didn't not want that you happen and wouldn't let it happen. He wanted things to peacefully and no violence, but spinel, who was consumed by rage and denial didn't listen to his words and attacked him and the crystal gems with her Rejuvenator. A weapon that is shaped like a scythe, had the ability to revert any gem back to who they were before everything else happened. Spinel was able to poof and revert Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst back to their original selves and Steven who was also hit was weaken and his powers were out of his control.

Steven had enough and fought back. He ended up poofing and reverting spinel back to her original self. Steven was Devastated and confused. Not only was did his friends lose their memories but now his enemy lost her memories. Now he has to find away to get his friends back to normal before everything gets worse. So Steven and Spinel, along with Bismuth, Lapis, Peridot set out to help get their friends memories back. They ended up fusing Garnet together but she still didn't remember anything.

Slowly one by one, Pearl, Amethyst, and Garnet got their memories back, including spinel. Spinel distraught and sad, finally told Steven the reason why she attack him. Steven understood now. She was abandoned by his mother. She was still going through so much pain and suffering. Steven felt bad for her, so he helped spinel and showed her that loving someone new won't hurt her. Soon Spinel realized what she was doing was wrong and ended up backing all her plans up and redeemed herself. Spinel was grateful for Steven. He had saved and redeemed her from herself, but she couldn't help but feel guilty and shameful for what she did.

At the end of the day, she left to go live with the diamonds, since they remembered her and she reminded them of pink diamond. Steven and spinel became friends and would talk on a daily basis for months, until now.
