Before you read on dear reader I think it's best you know first the heroes you are about to read about! A little bit of context never hurt anyone right. Now before I begin explaining the heroes, I must first start with some explanation on the world they call home. The magical world of Kyrri is a vast place split into twelve elemental kingdoms, each with many unigue biomes, cultures, people and sub kingdoms. Now while Kyrri can be a peaceful and oh so beautiful places, it is no stranger to great dangers and evils lurking in the shadows. So to combat the threats and keep the Kingdoms of Kyrri safe two teams of heroes where formed to watch over the Kingdoms and fight any threats that arise. Now while the two teams have differences, which I'll touch on soon, they both have two fundamentals that both teams share. The first of these fundamentals are the twelve elements of Kyrri; Magic, Tech, Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Death, Life, Light, Dark, Ice and Time. Each hero no matter the team they are one all weild the powers of one of the twleve elements. Both teams have twenty four members so each team has two member  of each element. The second fundamental the two teams share are the eight hero classes that exist within Kyrri; Brawler, Barbarian, Mage, Knight, Quickdraw, Rogue, Hacker, Beast. A hero is placed in one of the eight hero classes depending on the way they fight, as different hero classes fight in very different ways from one another, which I'll give a brief explanation for each class now. Brawlers are tough cookies that rely on different forms of first fighting and martial arts such as; boxing, karate, kung fu, sumo wrestling, ect. They rarely use weapons of any kind with the one exception being brass knuckles or gautlets. Barbarians are the heavy hitters in this world, they will weild just about anything if it hit heavy, though they traditionally use big two handed weapons. Mages are skilled mystical beings that can channel enchantments and spells of any element though either themselves or some kinda medium such as ring, staff, wand, amulet, ect. Knights are honorable warriors that pride themselves on their swift one handed weapon skills that allow for quick repeated strikes. On top of that they are tank in their own right being the most defensive of all the classes. Quickdraws are incredibly skilled with their shots, being the best class with long ranged weapons like bows, crossbows, slings, ect. Rogues are light on their feet, are to dodge attack with ease. Preferring stealthy options they prefer to use things like camouflage, smoke bombs, ect. to keep the target from ever seeing them. Hackers are the best technical geniuses you'll ever find being able to
take control and control just about any high tech, going as far as even being able to control creatures of their matched element. This is the one last that uses very untraditional weapons using primarily computers, phones, or other high tech devices to get the job done. Beasts are the wild ones of Kyrri and are very unpredictable most of the time. They have a rare ability to morph into strong, very aggressive beast forms that give them increased strength,  speed and durability. They normally don't use any weapons at all, but if they do it tends to be makeshift weapons made of junk and spare parts.

Now that we covered all that I think it's time to cover the two teams that you will be introduced to throughout these upcoming forty eight chapters, the Champions and the Outlanders. The Champions are a group of heroes originally formed by a group called The Elemental Order thousands of years ago to protect the Kingdoms of Kyrri when it was first founded. Sense then Champions have come and gone some giving their life to protect others and some just simply retiring, but no matter what a new Champions team has always formed to rise to the challenge when a threat arises. The current team was formed and lead by a great knight named Storm who personality tracked down and recruited each member. The Champions are all great warriors that fight for the people of Kyrri, and when they down in the mud they unleash their full strength, the Champion's Strike. Each Champion has it's own Champion's Strike that really shows off each heroes unigue  style. Now the Outlanders are a completely different ball park then the Champions. Being a relatively new group of heroes, they where formed and created with the idea to give imprisoned villains the chance to change their ways and go clean. Originally thought of by yours truely Rosemary, I tasked a young, man named Mum-Eye with leadership of the Outlanders. I saw the light in him still and felt his pain that drive him to do the things he did and knew in my heart he would take the chance to turn his talents to good use.    Due to the members habits the Outlanders tend to be a bit more aggressive in their fighting styles and so their special technique is know as the Assassin's Strike. Now you know the heroes you will be reading about in this book, so enjoy learning about the many heroes that protect this beautiful paradise I call home!
