"I can explain" Cassie tried to reason with the two boys who seem to be mumbling in the front.

"You're a werewolf?" Stiles looks at Cassie and back to Scott "I've known her 3 years Scott! Three Years! and we didn't know she was a werewolf.. Derek didn't know she was a werewolf Or maybe he-"

"Stiles shut up for one second, please?" Scott seems to become agitated at Stiles, as Cassie sits silently awkward in the back seat trying to retain all the information.

"Wait hold on, you know about the supernatural?" She asks curiously.
The two boys debate with each other until Scot turns around facing Cassie.
His eyes glow a hazy yellow and his nails grow into long claws.

Cassie's eyebrows furrow, looking between the two boys analysing what just happened. "You're a werewolf?" She sat forward while placing her hand in the top of the seat "first of all, how do you know the twins And why were they looking for Issac? And how did I not know?"

"We're not sure yet, we were hoping you'd help?" Scott asks with a soft smile.

"Help you? Maybe" she looks to stiles "help him?, no"

Throwing his hands in exaggeration stiles huffs "oh come on Cassie, I don't like you either but it doesn't seem like we have a choice, they seemed to be convinced you know about Isaac"

The desperate look on Scott's face catches Cassie's attention, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms she agrees to help "I would drive if I were you" she aims to stiles "those two boys don't seem to like you very much" gesturing to the twins stamping towards the car.

Stiles quickly turns around following Cassie's eyes to the twins, turning into his seat and the jitter to a start.

———

"Where are we? I didn't exactly plan on helping you with two homicidal were wolves today"
Cassie complained.

Rolling his eyes stiles turns around puts his arm on the edge of the seat "Scott has to go to Deaton" he replies in a bland tone.

"And he is..?"

"What's with all the questions Burke?" Stiles snapped.
Cassie sighed but didn't reply, not finding a point in arguing.

Stiles noticed the change in demeanour in Cassie as he glances through the side mirror of the car. "How long have you been a Werewolf" Stiles asked with a softer tone.

"I was born one" she says mumbling looking down at her fingers, twirling them.
Not knowing what to say stiles turns around and they sit in silence until Scott returns.

Starting the next morning normal so far Cassie wakes up early, brushing her long brown hair and tucking a piece behind her ear.

She slips on a pair of baggy black jeans with slight rips on the knees, a white tight crop top and a beige flannel over top, finishing it all up with her bag taped across her shoulder.

"I'll see you later Mum" Cassie chirps before she leaves for school.

"Oh Cas, I won't be home until late tonight so I left money on the counter to order pizza" Her mother smiled.
Cassie smiles in agreement as she opens the door to leave for school.

Opening the door the notices a familiar blue jeep parked outside her house.
"How do you even know where I live?" Cassie questions stiles through the open window.

"I thought you might want a ride? Considering we did drag you out of the school yesterday" Stiles smiles at Cassie, an unfamiliar sight between the two.

Climbing into the front seat of his jeep she smiles, "thank you, honestly I wasn't looking forward to walking today" Cassie a light chuckle escapes her lips as she looks into the back seat "no Scott?"

"He took a ride with Allison"

"So" Cassie starts to fill the silence "why you being so nice to me all of a sudden?" She hinted.

"I could ask you the same thing" stiles smirks looking at her as he begins to drive.

The drive to school was quite but not awkward, for once Cassie and stiles didn't argue.

———

Stiles and Cassie walk into class together noticing Mr Harris is no where to be seen and as if on queue a female teacher walks into the room.
Cassie had a feeling she knew her and the answer was on the tip of her tongue.

Everyone sat as normal taking out their books to continue with class.

Stiles exhales noticing a band aid on Lydia's ankle "what is that?, is that from the accident?" He questions pointing his pen to her ankle.

"No. Prada bit me" Lydia replies dryly

"Your dog?"

"No. My designer handbag" she replies sarcastically

Cassie hears them mumbling about how an accident happened the other night with a deer noticing how it's weird that now her dog is becoming aggressive.
Not paying much attention she continues to take down notes until a loud bang is heard from the window.

Stiles looks over at the window and she follows his gaze to a reflection of a large flock of birds directing aiming to the windows. One by one they smack into the window until it breaks.

Glass is shattering all over the room "everyone get down!" The teacher shrieks. Students begin to clamber under their desks to protect themselves from the rampage of birds.

Stiles looks at Cassie who is making her way under her desk, making his way over, he grabs her hand helping her down under the desk protecting her from the birds.

Cassie began to panic but upon realising she is under the protection of stilinksi she begins to relax, feeling safe in his arms.

The birds eventually stop and students climb out from their desks.
Trembling and in shock Cassie stands up looking at stiles nervously "Thank you.."
Realising stiles still has a hold of Cassie hand he looks down and slowly pulls his hand back.

"Yeah um no problem" stiles gulped Putting his hand on his neck and looking down.
