Amethysts P.O.V
It's not easy being the first in line for the mermaid throne especially when you're one eighth werewolf and two eighths fairy. Don't ask about my family its way more complicated than I want to explain. My parents are going to step down from the throne on my 18th birthday. Until then I am being sent to a school for mermaids, vampires, werewolves, witches, fairies, and even more creatures. The creatures that I am most looking forward to meeting are the hybrids. I heard that hybrids are the strongest besides mermaids. My new school is called Mountain View high.
It's the day before I start school and I am so nerves. My mom is always telling me to be myself, and I wish it was that easy. You see since I turned for my first time when I was thirteen my parents have had me live on land in a house with my five older brothers. Their names are William, Chase, Joey, Jace, and Sebastian. Yesterday my dad told me I would be going to high school on land and with other mythics'. I was freaking out but now I am really excited to go and make new friends. My childhood friends are Rose, Anna, Jess, May, and Mina.
They are also going to the school but we are unsure that we will get a room together seeing as it is coed dorms. They allow six girls and like five to six guys depending on the numbers. My brothers that will be going to the school are Sebastian, Chase, Jace, Joey because they haven't found their mates yet. You see to be considered a full adult is that you have to have your mate and be over 16 years of age usually we find mates when we come of age but with us we are able to find them when we reach age 14. I happen to be 16 and my parents want me to find him as soon as possible.
Why can't one of my brother's take over you ask? Well you see the line is passed down through the women but if one doesn't want the responsibility they can give the crown to their most trusted siblings. Well now that you know my history let's get back to the present. I was just on my way to school and now I'm being chased by stupid great white sharks. They happen to be the most blood thirsty of all sharks. I swim to a dock and try to climb up but am pulled down by sharp teeth digging into my flipper. I scream in pain and that is when it hits me and I think "I am going to die. I should have left with my brothers."
As I am pulled down into the water when the most beautiful wolf with shining black fur and red eyes jumps into the water and tears the sharks off me then grabs me by my shell bra(A/N: I know very cliché but would you rather her swimming topless or in a shirt?) and pulls me on to land. My tail transforms as I hit dry land and my left leg has a gash all the way down to my ankle. I look up to see the wolf turn into a man and then his scent hits me and my wolf screams "MATE!" I look at him and see that he has a six pack, wavy black hair and beautiful dark blue eyes. My wolf has shown up but I haven't had my first turn yet. But finding him forces me to turn prematurely and I cry out in pain as my bones break and realign themselves to make me a pure white wolf with golden eyes. My wolfs name is Aurora but I call her beauty because she is beautiful.
As he sees me change his look changes from scared and worried to proud and loving. I stand and walk to him as he shifts. He nuzzles into my neck and I hear him whisper in my mind that I was beautiful and he was happy to have me as his mate. I look into his amazing eyes and ask him "What's your name?" he look at me and says "My name is Dakota James Grey, and what is your name, my beautiful mate" I blush mentally and say "My name is Amethyst Jasmine Ocean." He told me to think of what I look like as a human and the change will come. I do and the pain is less so now I only whimper. I look up to see him changed and putting on clothes. I look down and scream because I have no clothes on.
