"We were wondering where you went," Eskel said when Juray returned to the Chameleon.

"I told Geralt and Ciri I had something to take care of."

Juray was glad she'd cleaned the evidence of what that something was before leaving the theater. The four of them had left separately, using different exits. Juray ended up taking the scenic route through the warehouse district.

"But nobody knew what that was."

"You know I can take care of myself."

"I know, but we just got word that Radovid was assassinated on the bridge to Temple Isle."

"Well, that saddens me considerably."

Eskel smirked at the sarcasm in Juray's voice.

"Why would you be worried about me because Radovid was murdered?"

"Wouldn't put it past the Witch Hunters to think a Witcher was hired to kill him, considering what Letho did."

"Hmm, good point."

"Everyone is meeting at the port. Ge'els thinks Skellige is the best place to face the Wild Hunt without innocents being caught in the middle."

"Also the place where we need to find something called the Sunstone to lure Eredin to our world."

"Everyone is finishing up with their business here. Fiona is here. She's waiting in the common room."

Juray sighed. "I forgot I was supposed to meet with her before we left."

"Maybe she can help convince that stubborn kid of ours to go home."

"Ours?"

"I helped raise him," Eskel smiled. "I consider him my son, too."

"I'll meet you at the docks."

Juray found Fiona talking with Aiden and Gwen, the three laughing at something as she approached.

"Forgive me, Fiona," Juray said as she joined them. "Hope I didn't make you wait long. Something came up that I needed to take care of."

"It's perfectly alright," Fiona said. "Your handsome son was keeping me company."

Aiden gave a laugh.

"He was telling me about how he came to be your son. Awful what happened to his family, but I am glad you decided to take him in. You've taught him well."

"Aside from being quite stubborn, he's turned into a fine young man."

"Mum, I made my decision. Eskel and Geralt tried to talk me out of it, too."

"Apple doesn't fall far from the tree it seems," Fiona commented.

"Gavin complain about how stubborn I was?"

Fiona laughed. "That stubbornness is what attracted him to you."

"How have things been with you?" Juray asked, changing the subject from her past relationship with Fiona's husband.

"Novigrad is getting worst by the day. Ever since the mages disappeared, the Witch Hunters have been going after non-humans. It's disconcerting. I fear tensions will reach a breaking point and there will be a pogrom."
