It was the day before the final of the Grand Magic Games, everybody was finally settling down for the night when Natsu, Gajeel, Gray, and all three of the exceeds came back in the pub. To say the least, they did not look to happy, I frowned, Lucy was missing, did something happen to her or did she just go back the hotel?

"Where's Lucy at?" Cana asked, chugging another mug of beer. We watched as everyone got tense.

"They took her, those bastards." Natsu said, his fist clenched. 

"Who?" I asked, folding my hands and placing them under my chin, waiting to find out who took our nakama. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Master began sobering up immediately, one of his children were taken and he wasn't going to take it laying down.

"The Royal guards." Gajeel said, staring right at master, everyone froze, no one dared to say a word, my hands moved to cover my mouth in shock, why would the Royal guards take Lucy, what happened when they all left? They then went on to explain a plan called the Eclipse Gate, to go back in time to kill the Black Wizard Zeref before he became immortal. The Gate needed a Celestial wizard to open it, but the Vice Admiral believed that going back into time would cause a ripple effect of negative events, so Lucy, along with Yukino, the former Celestial wizard of Sabertooth were both taken into custody. They also said, a deal was made between them and the Vice Admiral that if Fairy Tail did end up winning the games, that Lucy would be released.

"What the hell?" Laxus questioned, just as confused as everyone else.

"Lucy has been taken into custody?" Erza followed up.

"To think she would be involved in some top secret plot is utterly ridiculous." Master said, sitting crossed legged and arms crossed on top of the bar, wish his head casted down and eyes closed.

"Let me get this straight, we take the top spot, we can ask for her back, but that's only if his highness allows it?" Laxus asked, not believing that the King would just release a prisoner so easily.

"Personally, I have a hard time believing anything that old guy told me." Gray replied back, looking towards Laxus.

"I feel the same." I said, my eyes going to look towards the man I once claimed was my beloved, but I am not even sure at this point.

"Are we just suppose to put up with this crap from those jerks?!?!" Natsu yelled out from the poll he is currently tied to, my eyes then roamed to him, I don't know why they thought that would hold him, when he can easily burn the ropes, but he is staying put for the time being, so I am guessing he is allowing it, I almost let a smile grace my lips, before I remember the severity of the situation. Wendy walked up to him, with her hands up, moving them side to side, trying to calm the angry dragon slayer. "Untie me, and I'll go up there and get her right now!!" He yelled. My heart swelled, he must really love to go against the royal palace to get Lucy back.

"Just come down and do what Master tells us." Wendy said, poor girl, she basically sees the other dragon slayers as brothers, it's like herding cats when they were angry, especially Natsu.

"No violence." Carla chimed in, on the right on Wendy, with Happy on the left.

"It would be us against a whole army, you know." Happy stated, not even putting it into a question.

"Master." Erza said, moving forward, gaining every to look towards them if they weren't.

"We can't afford to take reckless action against the kingdom." Master replied, moving his hand his chin in thought. "Surely wouldn't want word to spread that they mistreated three innocent civilians," He started, thoughtfully, with his right eye closed. "But I suppose we should considered her a hostage, until this Eclipse project of theirs is called off." He finished with a tone of finality to his voice.
