"Jimin! Did you hear the recent gossip?"
Jimin looked up from his notes, brows furrowing as he glanced at the overexcited student hovering in front of him in the library. A few heads turned toward them. He gave them a tight smile.
"Shh...we're in the library, Heejin." He shifted his attention back to his notes.
"Aren't you even the least bit curious?" Heejin asked, taking a seat in front of him and folding her hands on the table.
She was in the same department as him and someone he could call an acquaintance. They often hung out together for academic purposes and that was as far as it went. Jimin wouldn't call her a friend yet. If anything, she was just a chatterbox. She only knew what Jimin wanted her to know.
"Not unless it's something important. You said it's gossip. Nothing good ever comes out of gossip." He sifted through the business mathematics notes.
"Ah, come on, but it's interesting."
He briefly glanced at her to see her wiggling her groomed eyebrows. "Go on. It's not like you would stop gossiping just because I told you to."
"You're the student body president. If anyone should be knowing about these things first, it should be you," she reasoned. "Whether it's good or bad, it doesn't help to know it."
"Fine." He sighed, putting his pen down. "Tell me who cheated on who this time."
A broad grin lit her features and she leaned in. "You know that Natalie from the Chemistry department?"
Jimin lifted a brow. "The cheerleader captain you never stop talking about."
"Yep. Guess what?" She wiggled her brows again.
Jimin rolled his eyes. "Get out with it already."
It wasn't like she'd stop talking just because he wasn't interested. She wouldn't leave until she was done with her storytime anyway. To be honest, he was tired of the gossip. It was nothing new. Ever since those exchange students came here, it was a mess.
Heejin covered her mouth with a giggle. "She cheated on her boyfriend with that new exchange student and he's furious."
"It's nothing new. We established she isn't someone to settle for alpha and that idiot always takes her back. Always buying her bullshit. What's new?"
Heejin hummed. "The new student isn't a pushover. He also comes from a big family, so when Sungwon went to confront him, he fought back. It was a mess and the last I heard the management intervened."
Jimin exhaled. This was nothing new. Natalie and her cousin Nancy were well known in the university for their beauty and dancing skills. But both were the omegas who had no intention to mate. They changed boyfriends like they changed clothes and sometimes shit went out of control.
"Heard Jungkook ditched Sungwon's party again. This morning people saw him with new hickeys," she continued. "Oh, man, I don't even know who it is this time."
He almost scoffed but held back. "You don't have to know. What he does in his personal time is none of our business."
"Come on, Jiminie. Aren't you curious?" She pouted. "He's one of the popular jocks and a fuck boy, but no one knows who he hooked up with unless someone come out on their own. That man is far too secretive for his own good."
This time Jimin scoffed. He wanted to tell her that Jungkook was in his bed and how he had to bribe him with several kisses and a mind-blowing blow job to get him ready.
"Do you think he has a girlfriend already? Some said these days he often smells like an omega. You don't happen to know any omega who smelled like sweet plums do you?"
