The school bell rang as people started to get out of their classroom to eat and while me being me decided to join yashiro into cleaning the bathroom
"H-hey Senpai and Y/n-senpai! Do you mind if I help you guys clean today?" Kou ask as he catch up with us
I smiled as I looked at him "We don't mind at all Kou-kun! We would appreciate the help really" I said to him as yashiro agreed with me in sadness
"Poor Yashiro-chan, I wonder what's going on in her mind?" I thought as I looked at her with frown
"Yashiro-chan, maybe you can rest today. I'll take your place just like the last time" I said to yashiro smiling at her while pointing at myself
"Huh? What? Oh no Y/n-chan, it's alright" She said as she looked at me while smiling
Well, forced that is.
Me and Kou exchanged looks before looking back at yashiro "But yashiro-chan? I thought you didn't like cleaning?" I asked as I looked at her confusingly
"Yeah, I agree with y/n-senpai I thought you didn't liked cleaning the bathroom?" Kou asked while he looked confused as I am
"Oh no, you're right. I really don't like cleaning" yashiro talked back as she went towards the bathroom
Now I am really worried about yashiro-chan.
Me and Kou followed yashiro as she was now cleaning the mirrors with a cloth on her hand, I looked at Kou with an apologetic smile on my face
"Here, you can start with cleaning the windows" I said to Kou while handed him a cloth and cleaning spray
"I'll start by mopping." Kou nodded, starting to clean
As time went by Hanako, well. Amane? Kept on bugging yashiro-chan but she decided to ignore it by continuously cleaning the same mirror over and over again
"Hey, yashiro. Don't you think you've been acting weird lately?" Hanako asked as he leaned closer to yashiro
"Eh?" Yashiro questioned, Kou turned around questioning as well "Even you N/n."
"I didn't even do anything?" i thought, this time I found myself turned to face the trio questioning as well.
"Not really. I think I'm the same as always." Yashiro replied back as she now stopped cleaning the mirror and looked at me
"Hey, Y/n-chan."
"Er, Yes Yashiro-chan?" I ask as I looked at her
She grabbed my mop and gave me her cloth and cleaning spray "Let's switch, I think the mirror is clean now. You can go and clean the sink and one of the bathroom stall" She said as she now was mopping the floor
"A..lright?" I said as I now went to clean the sink
"See? Since when did yashiro was looking forward to cleaning the floor? Look. Both of your reactions are kinda off." Hanako pointed out, and I thought back
I never acted differently, Perhaps it was a reaction that came up because yashiro was there? I don't even know anymore.
"You don't even grumble while you clean anymore yashiro." I perked up, yashiro did grumble before when I take her place when she was going to a family reunion.
The memory makes me feel nostalgic as i remembered when hanako told me to meet up at the confession tree
My head was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't noticed Kou,Hanako, and yashiro yelled my name
"Y/n-senpai! Are you alright?" Kou asked as he went up to me and grabbed my hands
"Huh? Oh yeah, is there something you guys wanted to tell me?" I ask as I looked at yashiro and Kou with the cloth in my other hand while I placed down the spray
The trio exchanged looks and then looked back to me "Even N/n is acting so weird lately!" Hanako pointed out
"You don't hum while you clean and You don't even flinch anymore when I leaned closely to your face!" He then grumbled
I didn't even noticed, Hmm..
"That's.. that's just because I've gotten more comfortable around you hanako" I smiled as I looked at him with no eye contact at all
And then i turned around to continue cleaning the sink the suddenly hanako hugged me from behind and seemed to wait for something
"..Is there anything you need hanako?" I asked focusing on cleaning
"I don't get it! You also don't blush anymore when I hugged you and yashiro didn't even scold me for hugging you without permission!" He then again pointed out as he groaned
Me and yashiro just kept on cleaning and keeping on facing the other direction
Hanako then snapped and grabbed my face, twisting it so I can face him and he did the same to yashiro
"Why won't you guys look at me!?" He demanded as he roughly squished my cheek
"Ha-hanako!! That hurts!" Yashiro yelled out as she can feel her grip tighten on the mop
"Am- HANAKO LET GO!" I yelled out as I tried to remove his hands on my face
"JUST PLEASE LOOK AT ME!" He yelled out as he now gently held our faces but still won't let go
"WE WILL WE WILL, JUST LET US GO!" I yelled out as I waved my arms everywhere
"Really!?"
"Yes really!" Yashiro agreed as she let go of the mop
Kou looked at them, being worried, while he never approved both of the girls being close to the wonder, It was plain obvious for him that both of his upperclassmen aren't okay. And he wanted to change that.
I stared at my notebook, deep in thought. The bell ring again as I stood up, walking towards the field outside. Yashiro was gardening
I wanted to go towards her, ask for her advice. As I went up to her I stopped "Yashiro probably has her own problems as I can see how she acted back in the bathroom" I thought as I stared at her
I then just went back and head to where was hanako located at, which is the bathroom.
Extra work because of not telling hanako we were going to the 4pm library.. hurayy..
Aha! I finally found you!" I heard a voice behind me and then stopped in the middle of the hall, seeing Kou catching up to me with...
Yashiro-chan?
"Kou-kun..? Yashiro-chan? Did you guys needed something? Ah! is hanako waiting for me? Is that why you and yashiro are together?" I ask as I looked at him and to my friend
He smiled awkwardly, "Right about that.. I wanna ask you a favor?"
"Uhm.. well do you know how to make donuts y/n-senpai?"
"End of chapter"
