A Smile Hiding The Sadness

As blue butterfly wings slowly flapped against the cold wind with the neon blue water brushing against the islands shore, trees that covered the night sky, with only blue swarms flying around lighting parts of the area, the only sound you hear is small little cries, coming upon the isolated island. "Lady Blue, please stop your tears and smile for me," Sapphire slowly nosed Lady Blue's arm, as Lady Blue glanced up her blue butterfly wings slowly folded in shape, helping her see her Multivac. "They won't stop coming, its just hard to believe this small thing could have taken him away," her eyes were red and puffy, the small little blue dress she wore and becoming dap from the tears, she was a small person fighting to stay calm in the real world but her emotions bursted out in the virtual world.

"Silver Sea may be gone, but we must believe that he's well alive and healthy, we will find him soon," Sapphire rubbed her head against Lady Blue's leg as her hand slowly moved to pet her Multivac. "I hope Ryota is safe," Silver Sea was edged her mind, as she thought of his silver eyes and his light grey hair it made slowly cry, she was missing the warmth from his hand, "please be safe, Ryota I need you back here with me," she slowly whispered to herself as she watched the water slowly move back and forth.

As Lady Blue sat silent with Sapphire trying to warm her cold hands, footsteps slowly parted behind them but as they finally stopped, Lady Blue only stared off in the distance, "Hello Pixu, what brings you towards this area?"

"I wanted to see how you were holding up," as he slowly brought himself to sit close to Lady Blue, he looked like his real life self. "I'm fine actually, just trying to spend as much time in the game as I can before it shuts down," she rested her head on her knees glancing at Pixu, him having a small smile. "Creator doesn't want any of us in the game, he emailed me earlier telling me that all the high ranking player are being targeted," the news dragged Lady Blue down more in her sadness. "Why does this have to happen," a small little sigh leaving her as her eyes began to fill up with tears. "Don't cry over it, Creator already has the best of his workers looking into the problem," he slowly glanced at her eyes, he was able to see the fear she was holding inside, "Manami, why don't we hang out today, still early so why don't we meet somewhere you feel comfortable?" "Meet me at the zoo, its not Aikko's favorite place but I always wanted to go there," she slowly smiled as he nodded his head. "Meet me out front, you already know what I look like so I don't have to hold up a sign," he began to chuckle. "Ok meet you there, ask Aikko for my information." "Already have it," he said with a smile.

"Can I pick your outfit out," Aikko began squealing from joy. "Why, I was going to put something simple on, we are only hanging out," Manami began shuffling through her closet for something fresh to wear. "Yea sure, pick the black top with strings on the sleeves, dark blue jeans I got you a long time ago, next your hair... oh yea, your black headphones also add this clip to your to make your hair stand out more," Aikko was smiling like the idiot she was sometimes, but Manami looked at her dumbfounded until Aikko laid out the clothes.

"You look really nice Manami," Mitsuo glanced up at her with a smile, he was even a little dressed up for this meeting; his hair was nicely parted, but he wore a black leather jacket with a grey shirt and a gold chain, also with nice black pants being held up with a red color belt. "Aikko made we wear this, so whats your excuse," Manami laughed as Mitsuo messed up his hair to make it more natural, "It's called my mother, I told her I was going out with a girl and she did this," Manami slowly covered her mouth to help her stop her from laughing. "Lets get going in, who knows if anyone is watching us," Mitsuo walked behind Manami as they brought themselves to buy the tickets.

"You think people would be watching us," Manami glanced back towards Mitsuo as he scanned the lines. "Haru did say it could be a possibility but also I am making sure my mother didn't follow me," with his small joke Manami laughed. "Your laugh is cute, not to be weird or anything we are just friends," he began to nervously laugh. "Thanks I guess, want me to pay for the tickets and later you buy lunch," she glanced up at him with a smile. "Yea, sounds like a plan," he gave her a smile as he gestured his way towards the opening towards the zoo.

"Why doesn't Aikko like the zoo," as they final stepped out into the busy crowd, Mitsuo grabbed a map to see the full view of the zoo. "Not big on crowds but I can deal with it sometimes also she hates walking for long periods of time," she glanced back up as he scratched his head in confusion. "I thought you guys did everything together," he slowly glanced at the map, "so what first?" "Well I like to have a plan, but if we take this path we can see everything also Aikko and me do things together, just not this kind of thing, but one rule is that you let me take control of this," she gave a small smile as he nodded his head.

As the walked around, Mitsuo kept glancing at Minami smiling and laughing, he became happy watching her have a good time, to him nothing could ruined this moment for him. "So, what do you want to talk about," Manami glanced at him with a smile. "What about school, I don't know anything about your school life," it was small topic that he quickly thought of, without thinking of the consequence. "Advance classes, Aikko is like my only friend in school, what about you," she slowly giggled as Mitsuo's face was filled with blush. "Uh, normal classes with many stupid kids but I have many friends that I only talk to during school," he slowly glanced away as she smiled back at him.

"What's your family like," she glanced at a exhibit with panda's eating the bamboo. "Full family, mother, father, older brother, what about you," he glanced back towards Manami. "Mother and a father, and soon to be little sister," she smiled happily at him. "Really, most kids that are having a little sister now, would be upset, so what's your excuse," he glanced at her with a confused look. "Being an only child for sometime becomes lonely when you see other siblings together, so I think it would pretty amazing for me to have a younger sibling to guide," Manami shrugged her shoulders as she slowly glanced around the area.

"What was your relationship with Silver Sea," the mention of Ryota froze Manami, she felt her heart begin to break into millions of pieces,"Ryota was a close friend of mine in the game, he told me his name, to help me trust him." Manami glanced Mitsuo, which to his dismay he was upset to hear, that one of the top level players were actually close to Manami was now pushing herself away from others. "Well, that must suck to know he is actually missing," Mitsuo tried to smile but he couldn't, the sadness that loomed around Manami was heart breaking. "Lets not think about that right now, lets just have a fun time," within a quick second Manami was back to smiling, it was forced but she never really showed the sadness that she consumed herself in. 'Her smile is hiding the sadness that she doesn't want others to see,' Mitsuo thought to himself as he joined her look at another animal.
