"I was abused and raped when my mother was gone. Shane didn't know much till I poured my guts out to him and mom." Brittany tells him with tears in her eyes. "Ali knew what was happening, but the girls ignored me because they thought I was ignoring them when I wasn't."

"She never told me."

"I didn't want her telling anyone, but she told me that I need to defend myself. So the night that Ali disappeared, after he was done raping me, I got up, took the sleeping pills he unusually takes and put a couple in his drink." Brittany sighed. "I was free."

Kate hugged her daughter as she confessed everything to Jason.

"Brittany, what he did to you was wrong and I wished Alison would have told me so I could have helped."

"She was going to tell you and Shane, but I stopped her. I was afraid he would kill me because someone knew."

"Don't ever worry about me not looking at you the same, Brit. I really like you and I want to see where this goes."

"I do too."

When Brittany got to school the next day, she saw Spencer and hugged her. "This shouldn't be happening to you. I know better."

"I know we had our differences, but I would never harm Ali like they think."

The blonde didn't know what to say to her friend. She may not know what it's like being accused for something she didn't do, but in a way, Spencer was being targeted because of her and Ali's history. Something that will make the cops look at the person who actually had a problem with Alison when she was alive. "You don't think A is doing this because of your past with Ali?"

"Yeah." Spencer said as they sat down as Hanna showed Brittany a picture of a necklace.

"Oh, Hanna, it's beautiful, but why an owl?"

"Because we heard owls that night."

Brittany knew what the blonde meant. Hanna and Caleb had sex and the necklace was to resemble their first time together. Hearing a phone buzz, Brittany looked at Spencer and knew today was going to be long all because of the drama that Brittany was left out of for a few weeks. Things she missed.

"I heard about Spencer." Kate said. "Is she okay?"

"No." She said. "Mom, do you think Spencer would do something like that?"

"No. I know the girl couldn't stand Alison like most, but killing her? That's something I would never imagine." She sighed. "Also, Hanna is with this guy Caleb and I'm worried as none of us don't know him at all."

"Brittany, don't worry too much on it. Go call your brother and Jason. Tell them what's going on."

Brittany nodded as she walked away, but she didn't call them, she called Aria. "Hey can you pick me up tomorrow. I have a bad feeling about Caleb."

Hearing that she wasn't the only one made her smile. Somehow, some way, they were going to find out more.

The next day, Brittany was walking into the school when she heard Caleb. The blonde hid as she listened in. Whoever he was talking too, wanted him to do something.

When he ended the call and walked in, she walked out of her spot. Emily and Aria stood beside her as they knew. "Hanna is going to be hurt."

"Yep, but who's going to tell her?" Brittany asked as her two friends looked at her. "What?" They gave her a look. "No! Why me?"

"Before we left you out, you and Hanna used to tell each other everything." Emily said. "We knew Hanna hated what happened between you two, but she will always support you. Even after what you went through. You told her everything."

Brittany sighed. "I guess I want our bond back." She said. "I'll tell her."

"You must heard wrong, Britt."

Brittany looked at Aria and Emily. "She's not lying." Aria said. "Whoever it was that on the phone meant business."

They heard the sound of a cane causing them to look at Jenna. Brittany saw the necklace and looked at Hanna shocked. "Oh Hanna."

In the halls, Brittany was by her locker. She hated seeing her friend like that. Getting a text, Brittany looked and saw it was Jason.

Is everything okay?

She smiled as she replied back that everything was fine. Brittany looked at Hanna as she stood in front of her. "Can you come with me?"

"Sure."

"I'm going to have a talk with him."

Brittany looked at her. "Hanna, I will be there, but I'm not going to say anything because this is your battle. Not mine." She tells her.

"I just need your support."

"I'll be there. Like old times."

Brittany listened to every word Hanna said to Caleb. He used her to get info till he fell for her. Brittany shook her head at this excuse.

When he left, Brittany went to her side. She hugged her as Hanna started crying. "I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault." She said. "I'm sorry for ditching you because you were always there for me like I was to you. Can we start over?"

"I would love that."

The next day, Brittany walked with the girls down the hall when Hanna went into the bathroom. "Oh no." She said as they followed her in.

Not saying a word, Hanna smacked Jenna causing the girls to be quiet. "In case you didn't know, this is Hanna."

Brittany watched her give back Jenna's glasses and walked out. None of the lists said anything as they left as this wasn't supposed to happen. Hanna was left heartbroken and her trust broken too.
