2~Friends?

Kate pov:

After 2 hours climbing the stairs she showed me where my room is, it's right next to hers wich is nice since she is the only person i know here right now.

We walked in and it was pretty big, there was a desk, a king-sized bed and 2 doors leading to my closet and my bathroom. I put down everything and looked around.

"You can change some things if u want." Yelena said. "I actually like it." i said, almost wispering. "Well if you want i'll go over your scedual with you." She said, and i swear she was blushing but i pretended not to notice. "Yes, that would be great." I quickly responded, blushing aswel.

"We can wake up when we want, it just has to be before 8am because they put away all the food from breakfast. Then at 8am we all have etiquette class in different settings everyday."She said looking at me to see if i understood.

"What do you mean'different setting'?" I asked, genuently not knowing. "We learn different etiquette settings like a family diner, gala, formal diner with collegues. You know." I nodded.

Then from 10am until 12pm we can sort of do what we want. We have options like painting, drawing, making music, make clothes or some sports like horsebackriding and archery."she said.

"ARCHERY?! that seems so nice." She laughed at that. I liked that sound, i wish i knew how to hear it more in the future. Wait, Kate you sound delusional.

My thoughts were interupted by someone clearing their throat and looking at me to see if i was back. "Hi" Yelena said. "Hi, yeah sorry, i was stuck in my thoughts for a second. Continue please." i said smiling so this situation wouldnt get any more awkward.

"At 12pm we all eat in the big dining hall. And when all the girls are done we all go change for school. we have 2 subjects but its better then none." She seemed upset because of this?

In our society women could only go to school for two subjects, English literature and history, and in that last one we dont even learn about wars or scientific discoveries.

"After that you are free to do anything you want, you do have to stay on the property." she said. I nodded, confirming i was listening.

"On weekdays and sundays we eat at 7pm and you have to dress nicely for diner, every single night. After that we have to go to bed at 10 pm. Saturday afternoon we always visit the boys instituteand we go to bed at 12am and Sunday mornings we go to church.

I think thats all you should know about our planning." she said in a lower tone. "Thank you so much for this now i can peacefully go to bed." i said looking in her eyes.

"Yes so its getting late(almost 10 am), you should start getting ready for an activity of your choice."she said. I was scared she had to go, because that meant that i had to get outside my comfortzone.

"Yes thanks Yelena, ill see you later." "Yeah, Ill see you around Kate Bishop" And she walked out the door.

I started getting ready for archery because it sounded so cool to do archery. I felt like i've done it before, must be when i was very young because i didnt remember exactly, it was more of a feeling.

~~~Small time skip

After i was done unpacking and changing I went out to the garden where the archerygroup whas gathered. There werent a lot of people but it was okay.

Apperently i wasn't the only one who had never done this there were 2 other girls who hadn't their names were Chloe and Perrie. They seemed like nice girls.

When our instructor was explaining the basics i was paying a lot of attention to what she was saying because i felt like i needed to do good.

That first lesson went better than expected to be honest. I was pretty focused and some arrows made it to the target. Maybe i was exagerating because most of my arrows i shot in the target, except 1 or 2.
