The tom smiled at the She-cats reply. "Why did you come all the way out here?" He asked curiously, tilting his decently shaped head. His calico spotting reflected the sun nicely, so Maple'Feather was caught admiring them. "Oh! I- uh," Her face obviously turned hot pink, and he squinted his eyes. "Just to see what you were up to, is all," she swore, blinking furiously. "Mhm, about that, would you like to help me hunt?" He insisted, chuckling at her flustered face."Sure." She nodded, a toothy smile making its way across the young warriors face. The tom smiled back. "I'm glad. Follow me! Don't get lost!" He leaped into the tall, yellow grass. "Wait up!" He heard her call, then a crash into the field. He purred with delight, running fast.

Rays of sun poured into the warriors den the next morning. Birds cooed their songs gently to one another. Cats greeted and finished conversations from outside. Oak'Tails eyes adjusted to the bright light, seeing Ripple'star standing on highrock. She had a nice smile on her face, as if sharing happiness with the clan without a word. Oak'Tail rose himself. He slipped from the warriors den and to his leader. Hm. He randomly thought as he walked around camp. Toast'feather was busy in a conversation, and Yellow'moth was eating a dry, skinny mouse. Oak'Tail gagged to the sight of the squirmy thing. He wondered how it tasted. He shook away the thought, heading out for a morning hunt.
