In the driveway, Uncle Stevie stares at Tony. Nat, Scott and I get out of the car behind him.
Uncle Stevie, Scott, me and Nat sit with Tony after we get invited by the billionaire to come in.
"I just want to thank you folks for dropping by. It's not every day one gets to contemplate biting it on an inter-dimensional timescape" Tony says.
"You've got some objections to the plan" Nat comments.
"So you're calling it a plan. To me, it sounds like an exotic suicide method. Not to mention, it's impossible."
"We know what it sounds like," Scott replies.
"Tony, after what you've seen, is anything really impossible?" Uncle Stevie asks.
I zone out of conversation while drinking some tea.
"I get that you've got a lot on the line, here. You've got a wife. A daughter. But I lost someone very important - a lot of us did - and now we have a chance to save her, and everyone else, and you won't even-" I zone back in as Scott comments and sigh.
"No, Scott. I won't. Even" Tony declares.
"Mommy told me to come save you." I hear a little voice as I see Morgan, the youngest Stark running up to Tony. Tony takes her into his arms and heads inside.
"Good job. I'm saved" Tony chuckles. "I wish you were coming here to ask me something else. I'm honestly happy to see you. If you want to stay-"
"Tony, I get it. And I'm happy for you. I am. But this is a second chance." Uncle Stevie tries again as Tony just walks off.
Uncle Stevie, Natasha, me and Scott walk toward the car.
"He's scared," Nat comments.
"He's not wrong" Uncle Stevie replies as I nod.
"What are we gonna do? We need him. You want to stop?" Scott complains.
"No. I want to do it right. We're going to need a really big brain."
"Bigger than his?" I ask before realizing what he means.
