Chapter 18

It's been two weeks since Kim Jennie started working in Manoban Corporation. Her daily life in her work is just an easy task for her. Doing great on her work some of her workmates started to gossip about her using her face to get notice by the high ranks, because in just two weeks a lot of compliments rained Kim Jennie, one of the managers even recommend her for the promotion. That really made some of her workmates furious.

"I can't really stand her." One of the office lady uttered, applying lipstick on her not so kissable lips.

"Same. Did you see her smile? Ghad, she's seducing them." Another one agreed, "She's such a flirt."

Suddenly one of the cubicles from the restroom opened. Walking elegantly towards the sink is Lisa Manoban. You can see the cold look on her face but the ladies who's just gossiping about her girlfriend earlier didn't mind it and just look in awed on her.

It's their first time seeing a goddess in front of them. Even though Lisa Manoban just wearing a simple white shirt, black jeans, and her white shoes she's looking so pretty. Plus her specs that look really great on her.

"If you can't stand her, you can just sit." Lisa Manoban flatly uttered, washing her hands in the sink.

The girl was stunned by her. Of course she would hear her! She's just meters away earlier! And her voice is not even that low when gossiping.

She faked cough, "Who are you?-i can't sit either." She even nudge her friend to support her.

"Yeah. Why are you interrupting us? You didn't know her, she's a flirt i swear." The other girl supported.

Lisa Manoban didn't talk not after she's done washing her hands, "You don't have to know who am i." She took a glance at their id, "after all, you will never see me again."

The not so kissable lips girl scoffs, "How did you even get in inside our company? Outsiders are forbidden."

Leaning her back on the wall Lisa Manoban look up and down to the girls, "That's what i want to ask you. I didn't know our company's accepting some ducks?" She seriously uttered, "and, if you can't sit either, then, just knell." After saying that she give them one last cold stares and walking out from the restroom.

She's annoyed by them. Their company employees are all gossiper. And what? Smile? You're wrong, ducks. That's her business smile not her real smile. Also, flirt? They're insane. She's just doing her job and not flirting.

Walking towards the company's cafeteria Lisa Manoban grab her phone from her back-pocket, dialing someone's number.

"Hello. I'm Lisa Manoban. I have flavor to ask." She seated at the near the corner, "Yes. Chou Soyeon and Kim Yuna." As she finishes talking at the person over the other line she can see Jennie walking towards her.

Wearing her office attire Kim Jennie walk towards her elegantly as if she's in run away.

"Hey, how's your day?" Lisa starts, smiling sweetly at the latter as if she didn't just fired two people.

Before sitting in front of her, Jennie kisses her cheeks before settling on one of the chair, "Just fine." she answered.

Nodding, Lisa reach for her cellphone inside her pocket, "What do you want? I heard company's cafeteria food is not delicious."

Jennie let out a soft chuckled, "Hon, you're insulting your own company's food." She uttered, "and nah, it's delicious."

Lisa look at her, one eyebrows creased, "Really? The movies i watched didn't say that." She innocently said, "anyways, you won't ask me about what happened to me this day?"

"I'm about to ask you but you said it first before i can even ask you so..." Jennie look at her pausing, "how's your day?" She gently smile, she had his elbow on the table, with her chin in her hand.

Focusing on her lover.

Lisa look at her for a few seconds before answering because she's too stunned from the beauty in front of her, she's even convince for a few seconds that there's an halo on her head, "It was nice." She shortly answered, smiling at her.

It was nice now that you're in front of me, breathing prettily.

"And hungry too." Jennie's giggle from her answer and standing up from her chair.

"Wait for me, I'll just get your food."

After a couple of minutes Jennie came back holding only one tray on her hands that made Lisa one eyebrows raised, "You're not eating?" She asked.

Jennie nodded, giving the tray she's holding to Lisa, "I'm full." She explain.

Lisa grabbed her fork and spoon, "You had early lunch?" She asked, eating the broccoli on her plate.

"Yes." She simply answered, busy watching her lover.

She loves watching her lover eat.

"What did you eat?" Lisa asked, after swallowing her food.

Jennie smile at her, elbow on the table and hands on her chin, "Some vegetables salad."

Lisa look at her in instant, "That all green thing?" Jennie nodded, biting her lower lip trying to stop herself from smiling, "What are you? A carabao?"

Still biting her lips, Jennie asked, "A carabao you say?" Smiling, "I guess."

"Oh, pretty and rich carabao then."

Jennie snickered, looking at her lover with a hint of amusement, "You have it so bad." She said, with a gentle smile plastered on her face.

Lisa grinned at her, nodding, agreeing with her.

"I like you that much." She says, looking affectionately at her lover.

"Silly." Jennie immediately dismissed, feeling really giddy about it, "By the way, why are you doing here? I got shocked receiving your text out of nowhere that you're here."

Lisa immediately noticed about her changing the topic but just let it go, but grinning at the back of her head.

"Starting next week I'm going to work here," She informed, drinking from the bottle of water Jennie bought, "I'm excited." She added, her eyes are sparkling.

Jennie forehead creased, "Excited?"

"Yes. Like, I want to try the office romance." Lisa explained, finally done with her food.

Noticing it, Jennie grab a rubbing alcohol and pass it to her, "You're watching too much kdramas." She uttered, massaging the bridge of her nose, seems really stressed.

"It's nice and romantic though." Lisa continues, ignoring Jennie's remarks, "Let's try it."

Jennie sighs, thinking about her life decisions 'til now.

"Fine.."
