(Meilin's POV)
Here I am, walking Gregory around the school, with no one else around. "So Gregory, do you like it here so far?" He looked at me, with a manic expression.
"It's alright. I am sorry if I sound unenthusiastic. Its just that my family and I often travel alot, leaving me little time to actually get used to places we stay in."
"Aw, I see. Speaking of, whats your family like?" I then saw him make a sad face. "My real parents are... uh, lets just say I'm adopted."
My eyes opened in shock. "Oh I-Im sorry!" "No no, its ok. You didnt know." I felt guilty asking him something personal, even if he said it was fine. We heard the bell ring, which ment it was lunch time.
(Gregory's POV)
When I first arrived here, I never thought I'd meet anyone like Meilin. She showed me all around school, talked about her parent's family busniuess, and now shes inviting me over to her place.
"I already feel comfortable here. Thanks Mei." Mei smiled, and brushed her red hair. "Of course! Your one of us now. Speaking of which, I should introduce you to my friends, I think they'll like you." "Ok." We heard the bell ring.
"Welp, its lunch time Gregory. Follow me", she said to me. I nodded and followed her to the cafateria. Loads of other students were already in line, or are already eating homebrought lunches. I luckly had money, so I bought a slice of pizza, and a juice box. Mei had already brought her own lunch. "Oh, my friends are all over there!" She ran towards a table that had 3 other girls sitting there. I at first got a little nervous, but I went over there anyway.
(Miriam's POV)
Pryia, Abby and I were already sitting down, when Mei finally showed up. "Hey Mei! We've been waiting for you", I said happily.
"Yeah I know, but thats because I was help our new friend. Cmon Gregory!" I saw the boy from earlier, walk over to our table. "H-hello. You gals must be Mei's friends" Pryia slowly shook her head yes. "Yeah, and you must be the newbie! Your alot smaller then I thought! Here, come sit next to me!!!!" I chuckled, and noticed him blushing a little.
"Alright guys, chill. Dont freak him out.", Meilin said aggressivly "N-no, its fine. Im just not used to being around this many girls", Gregory said. We all laughed. He sat down, looking more confident.
"Im Miriam btw, I never to to tell you. You already know Mei, and these two are Pryia, and Abby. "Nice to meet you Gregory!", Abby said. "What up...", Pyria said. We all began eating our lunches, and chatting about life outside of school. As time went on, I noticed how close Mei as sitting next to Gregory. An idea popped in my head.
"So, Gregory. Have you heard about Mei's special ability?" I saw her spit up her drink in panic. Gregory looked confused. "No, I dont think so.", he replied. I smirked at the others, but before I could talk, Mei put her hands over my mouth.
"Hehehe, dont listen to her, shes just being *Stupid*." She gave me a glare. I could tell she wanted to keep it a secret for a while. "Sorry, geez", I mumbled. She let go of me. The bell rang, and we went back to our seprate classes. We waved goodbye to each other, and as I left, I glanced back at Mei and Gregory. I say her walking really close to him, almost like she was snuggling his shoulder. I just smirked, as I knew, she like him.
