Jiho regret everything she did last night, playing games with her brother until late night, end up sleep at 3 am and now she's late for school. Isn't it great?

Sure her house isn't that far from school but it's almost the time for the gate to be close, and Jiho just wake up from her bed.

"Seo Jiho! I've told you to sleep early everyday but what did you do last night until you wake up this late? You'll be late if you didn't-

"I know mom stop nagging! I'll go now!"

She grab her bag, let her hair fall touching her shoulder and she wash up her face before closing the door.

"I'll brush my teeth during recess time, please."

Jiho started running with one of the bag string on her shoulder, a slice of bread on her mouth. Her eyes go wide when she saw Mr.Yang was about to close the gate.

Today? Mr.Yang? Why did life hate me so much?

"Jiho!"

She let out a yelp when someone pulled her by her wrist to the side, taking her away from reaching the school gate.

"Wait but- Mark?"

"Shhh"

The male crouched down bringing Jiho along hiding from Mr.Yang's sight, he put his pointy finger at his lips a sign for them to keep quiet.

"If we go in now we'll get in trouble. I'm sorry for pulling you like that so sudden are you okay?"

No. I look so ugly right now and we're too close.

"I'm fine. I guess." She succeed answering without having something stuck in her throat after a long time spacing out.

"Finish your bread first. We'll go in using the small gate at the school back, it'll connect us to the store and then we'll run to our class. Okay?"

She nodded, can't be able to talk to see him smiling brightly at her.

Mark let out a soft giggle, "you're cute. I can't understand why people said that you're intimidating."

She felt her face burning, her heart beating started pumping so hard and loud, she's afraid that Mark will actually hear it.

This is the first time someone call me cute. And it's Mark.

"People said that i'm intimidating? Who?"

"Not sure. What i'm sure about is they're wrong. You look pure and cute instead of intimidating."

Jiho can't talk anymore. Her jaw almost drop at his statement, she finally feel like a girl. Someone finally treated her as a girl.

And it's Mark.

"Jiho let's go before the class started. I'll be in the front, stick onto me okay? You can grab my shirt or maybe my hand."

"I'll just-

"Oh wait it's better to hold my hand so we can move easily right? Here."

Jiho stared at Mark helding out his hand to her. She doesn't know why Mark help her. They're not that close. But maybe, Mark is just like this. Maybe he's always this kind for people, she thought to herself.

She slowly put her hand on top of his palm, before Mark grasped it, and he make sure to not holding it too tight.

You're making me fall for you. I have a stupid heart.

"We'll go now okay?"

"Okay."

"One, two, three"

They started running to the back of the school, making sure to bend down so no one will notice them. Mark was making sure to not run too hard so Jiho can catch up easily at the back.

They arrived in front of the door, unfortunately it was locked.

"No! What should we do?" Jiho asked panicking. It was spacious at the back, anyone that pass by will see them eventually.

"Back off Jiho, i will crash this door."

"What?"

Jiho watched as Mark started to take a small steps to the back, before he run and pushed the door using his side body.

Suprisingly, Mark succeed crashing in.

"It's an old door so it's not that hard to crash it. Let's go."

This time Mark interwined their fingers together and continue running inside, making Jiho to get flustered.

It's also her first time that someone actually be gentle to her. The smallest thing Mark did to her gave her a big impact. Because it was her first time having this type of moment and this type of treatment.

"Jiho! We did it!" Mark exclaimed when they arrived at the corridor, he jumped a little holding both of Jiho's hand so she'll join him.

Jiho chukles as she followed his actions before they stop, catching a breath.

"The class is about to start. We should go in now. I'll come to you during recess time bring Arin along. Okay?"

"Okay. Bye Mark!"

"Bye bye Jiho!"

What. It felt like i'm waving to my boyfriend. What is this type of feelings?

Jiho step in to class and was glad that the teacher still hasn't arrive so the students were still roaming around.

"You're suprisingly late. This is your first time."

She look over to Yeonjun before sitting down, and glanced at the watch.

"Why? Is it bothering you?"

He scoffed, "why can't you answer me like how you answer Wooyoung? Like 'yeah luckily i arrived earlier than the teacher' before laugh together?"

"I treat people like how they treat me. I ain't gonna do something without a reason, Yeonjun."

The male frowned.

"I take you to the market with my car, helped you get groceries even send you home."

"You asked me to come over as a slave."

"We compete and you lost."

"Yes and that's what you are to me. A rival, an enemy. Is that explain why i treat you like that?"

Yeonjun was taken aback by her words. He felt hurt at his heart. A rival, he can't believe that Jiho actually see him as a rival. It stings.

"Then stop see me as a rival, Jiho. Try to see me in a different view. Because i don't see you like how you see me."
