It was moving day. Empty rooms looked through curtain less windows onto an empty yard. there was nothing left in the backyard that normally had anything scatted around the grass. The rooms echoed silently like in a theater room after all the action had finished. Dead, silent. The house seemed so peaceful. it was never like this, normally filled with noise like a circus. Willow was sitting in the empty bedroom. 'Well, what used to be my bedroom', she said to herself in a whisper. As if she were afraid to interrupt the silence that would engulf her.
That was it, she was about to move out with her family, she had lived in seven houses over eighteen years. She was going to miss this house, it was her favorite of all the ones that she had lived in over the years, even though she didn't really remember the first two. Her family was on their way back from getting the last few moving boxes, as she got the tape gun out of the old crumbly box that was soon to break, ready to tape up the last few when they finished packing them up.
