It's been a while since I uploaded but I Promise that I am going to be more consistent! You might want to read the end of chapter 17 to get a quick refresh of what's happening.
I hate writing long chapters because I don't want any of you to get bored and I feel like getting straight to the point instead of using so many words is better lol
AVA'S POV:
I woke up suddenly from the sound of shuffling in the bedroom. I was trying to ignore it but I couldn't. As I adjusted to the sound, I opened my eyes and realised that I was in Harry's bed. I feel so embarrassed about how I just bombarded into his room last night and slept in his bed. He was probably thinking about how much he hates me and how he wishes he never asked me to move in with him.
As my eyes adjust to the light in the bedroom, I decide to quietly sit up. As I search around the room, my eyes land on Harry in his closet.
Holy fuck..
It seems he had just come out of the shower. His back muscles tense as he searches through his small walk-in wardrobe for something to wear and I get so lost in the sight. Before I can comprehend what's happening in front of me, Harry drops his towel and now he's completely naked. I let out a loud gasp causing Harry to suddenly turn around, now being fully aware that I'm awake.
"Morning", he says smirking, while still standing fully naked before my eyes, not being phased at the fact that I can see him. He starts to pull on his boxers and grabs a white shirt, pulling it over his damp curls and amazing body. The way his hair flows everywhere creates butterflies all around my stomach. Speaking of butterflies, he has a butterfly tattoo on the middle of his stomach. He had quite a few actually. I hadn't really noticed before even though they are littered up both of his arms.
"Uh- morning", I say while laying back down on the bed, staring at the ceiling with my arms resting on my stomach.
"What? You don't like what you see?", Harry asks out of the blue from the fact that I am no longer staring at him.
"Actually, no. I think that's payback from when you saw me" I reply, smiling to myself. I love how Harry and I are able to talk comfortably when we joke around.
Harry lets out a small chuckle "I guess it is", he says. He walks over to the bed in only his shirt and boxers. "We need to talk about everything today, Ava".
"Yeah I know" I reply, knowing that I am going to have to face this one way or another. My parents still think I live in my apartment but I do have to tell them that I moved out really soon. I also have to let them know everything about what I've gotten into. I would never put that on Harry and say that it's his fault because I made the decision to stay around him. He also makes me feel safe.
I already know that my dad is going to give me an earful when he hears about this because of my past experiences with a boy. What I am most scared about is the drugs part. I know my parents won't call the police because it involves me so that's a slight relief.
"Can you tell me everything from the start?", I ask Harry. As I'm staring at the ceiling, I keep getting flashbacks of Jamie and his hands around my neck. I hate him. I hope he trips and falls on his face one day.
Harry adjusted himself from sitting on the bed, to now laying in the same position as me and staring at the ceiling. "I'll tell you everything that I haven't told you already", he then says.
"Ok shoot". Harry says that a lot around me and now I guess it's just a habit that I've picked up.
"So apart from you knowing how I got into the business, there's still a lot more to know. Joining this business, I didn't really care about how I and everyone I know would get hurt and killed if I stepped out of line towards other people. My mother died so nothing else mattered to me and she was the most important thing to me in the world".
