'Where are we going?' Harry asks, getting into the passenger seat of the motor.

Louis rolls his eyes, fondly. 'Wait and see.'

There's a sigh and a pout, before Harry even replies. 'Don't do that. You know I can't cope with the suspense.'

'More of a reason not to tell you.' Louis wiggles his brows and then winks. He pushes the sunglasses further up the bridge of his nose. 'You'll love it - I hope.' Louis palms the wheel and then makes a complete U-turn.

Harry's arm limply hangs out of the open window, the breeze whips through his curled locks. 'It's a good job I love you.'

Louis laughs. 'Did you bring the blanket and candles?'

'Yeah. Though I still don't know what you'd want with candles.' Harry shakes his head, before absorbing the scenery beyond them.

'You'll see soon enough.'

And Louis was right, Harry did see soon enough. In the distance, there was an embankment, decorated in a grassland and trees. It was mid-summer and so the leaves were flourishing, just like the blossom. The odd sheep and horse could be spotted too.

A bird chorus was welcoming, even by Louis' standards. He wasn't keen on such enthusiasm at that time of the morning, when trying to sleep but out here in the wide open space, it is deemed perfect. Though, having Harry at his side, their fingers entwined, a head resting on his torso, just made this whole day that little bit more perfect.

'Mm. I love you,' Harry whispers. He trails a finger over Louis' knuckles.

Louis kisses the top of his head, smiling stupidly. 'And I love you - very much.'

'The blanket and food makes complete sense. But - what about the candles?' Harry asks.

Inquisitiveness was always Harry's middle name, it has to be. He struggles to contain his excitement at the best of times. But it's something Louis loves about his fiancé.

'I don't want to spoil the surprise,' Louis explains. He shuffles a bit, leaning further against the car door, to support Harry's posture. Delicately Louis kisses down his neck.

Harry giggles and squirms, albeit pleasantly. 'Lou - stop!'

'Never,' Louis says.

'Not now,' Harry hisses. 'Time and place, babe.'

Louis sighs. 'Love, there's no one here but us.'

There's a little more squirming from Harry whilst Louis continues to kiss at the flesh poking out of his collar, littering every section he can possibly find. Their moment is one filled with laughter and passion, though more laughter when Louis intermittently tickles Harry. It's a known fact that the man is highly ticklish, so it's no surprise when Harry ends up flat out on the blanket, partially coiled up to avoid being tickled.

'Lou - Louis!'

'Yes Harry?' Louis asks with a smug smile.

Harry's breathing is a little erratic, and in between fits of laughter, he manages to string a sentence together. 'You know I'm ticklish. Stop.'

Louis chuckles and straddles the man's waist. He plants a few more kisses on Harry's neck. But then the atmosphere transpires, their eyes lock, sharing a look of lust and desire. Louis nibbles at his bottom lip and Harry is quick to reciprocate. Their desire and passion connects them together, just like their lips that collide in a pattern of synchronisation. It's a rhythm that always deepens and often ends up in a naked tousle. Though, due to the nature of their surroundings, the absence of clothes is unattainable. Although the wish for each other to be in such a state was high, the way their hands coil around each other's attire, hands snaking beneath intermittently too. After a reluctant need for air, they break the intimate moment. Louis is now lying beneath his lover, eyes full of lust. His fingers are entwined, arms locked around the nape of Harry's back. And it's not until Harry caresses the pad of his thumb over Louis' flushed cheek, that words arise.
