"you're fucking psychotic!" olivia screamed, racing after sophie through the bloodied halls of the school."he deserved it, liv!" the blonde sped forward, ignoring the shrill screams of her former peers from the classroom the two had just left. running towards the nearest exit, they were faced with four armed police officers. sophie hid behind a corner, tugging olivia towards her. "we have to get out of here."
"yeah, no shit." she looked around the corner, seeing that the group of officers had split up, searching the area. "come on."
as soon as the exit was clear, they ran and they didn't look back. once they were out and safe from witnesses, liv turned to her 'friend' with a horrified look plastered across her face. "what the fuck just happened."
"we need to transfer schools," sophie begun, ignoring the question. "and fast. maybe we should change our names too."
"sophie!" olivia screamed at her. "sophie you're insane!"

"so she was just telling me that i was a bitch," anabelle scoffed, ranting about connie cormery, a girl she - and her friends - hated more than anything. "i mean, can you believe that? i'm the bitch, sure." the group of girls sat opposite one another in the mostly empty canteen.
"annie, didn't you say you just told her to go fuck herself?" maisie asked, tilting her head to the side.
"yeah," ana answered obliviously, not understanding the relevance. at this, maisie only laughed, familiarised with her friend.
"connie is a bitch though, i'm with belle on that one." liv stated from next to maisie, diagonal from ana.
"don't you think so, em?" maisie asked, trying to include her other friend in the conversation, however the aforementioned girl was staring at her phone with a dazed smile. "em?" ana waved a hand infront of her face, snapping her out of it.
"huh?" she quickly slammed her phone down on the table, clearly hiding something from the group.
"who are you texting?" olivia asked with a smirk, jokingly reaching over to try and get emily's phone, failing as the girl opposite quickly snatched it away.
"no one." she answered monotonously. the other three eyed her suspiciously but fortunately for her, they were soon distracted as amelia evans walked past.
"hey, ana." as the others rolled their eyes, anabelle lost all sense, forgetting how to function when the two girls made eye contact. when ana managed to utter out a 'hi', a roar of laughter was heard from olivia's direction, causing anabelle to shoot a harsh kick her way. amelia waved at her with a smile and then continued on, leaving ana starstruck.
once the blonde had disappeared, ana collapsed her head onto her hands on the wooden table making maisie and liv giggle to themselves while emily pulled out her phone again.
"ok, seriously, who are you texting? you look as in love as ana." liv asked, earning a middle finger from the redhead who still hadn't lifted her head from the table.
"im not in love with anyone," emily started, blushing a bright red as another message popped up on her screen.
before the others could ask anymore questions, they were interrupted by sophie entering the canteen and taking a seat beside anabelle. "hey sorry im late." she said, putting her phone back in her pocket and sending a discreet wink towards emily which only maisie noticed. as emily blushed, maisie began to join the dots. before she could say anything, sophie changed the subject. "what's with her?" she motioned towards ana who's head was still in her arms.
