Kokomi wandered around the Sangonomiya Shrine. and took in the breeze, her hair flowing softly behind her. she decided she would go for a walk along the beach.
she took her shoes off and kept them in her hand, and walked along side the shoreline. as the sun began its journey and reflected off the water, Kokomi's thoughts washed away and she entered a pure state of relaxation. All she could feel was the gentle breeze and the warm sunset. she looked into the ocean and her eyes drifted up towards the sky, with streaky clouds and a perfect fade from blue to pinkish red. she sat down on the squishy, soft sand and watched the sun set, going towards the horizon and fading away.
she lay down carefully on the sand, her face facing the sky. she watched as the streaky clouds drifted away and before she knew it, thousands of glowing stars filled the sky and the subtle glow of the moon made the dark not seem so dark. she stared at the stars for a while. her eyelids got heavy and her mind was tired.
she got up and dusted off some of the sand on her legs before walking back up to the Sangonomiya shrine and settled in. she first changed into her pajamas and luckly had a skylight in her room so she could gaze at the glowing stars above her while her thoughts slowed to a stop and she drifted off to sleep, a sound, peaceful and sweet sleep.
