nightmare; yours

You have a traumatizing childhood. Getting nightmares was quite often for you but it's also a secret to people that are close to you. Like your boyfriend, Min Yoongi. The reason you haven't told him is because you don't want to become a burden to him, knowing how much he loves to sleep, so waking him up because you have a bad dream might be a deal breaker.

But tonight was different. For the first time, Yoongi invited you to sleepover with him at his apartment. You've avoided this question but you couldn't decline without a proper reason, so you accepted.

Right now you two are in his bed, sleeping peacefully. You're not cuddling because Yoongi went to bed before you and you didn't want to wake him.

As you fell asleep, your past memories came back to haunt you once again. You roll to your side trying to shake them away, but as the memories projected in your head constantly, they began to hurt you in your sleep causing you to whimper and shed some tears. You sniffled as you gripped the bedsheets wanting the bad memories to stop, then you felt something.

A warm hand was touching your cheek and caressing it gently, then you heard someone hushing you soothingly and it was actually helping. Then you finally heard someone else talking:

"Baby...it's okay. It's just a bad dream. Look at me please, I'm right here. Come on..." It was Yoongi, trying to wake you up as he cleaned away your tears.

You opened your eyes, looking right into Yoongi's feeling safe once again. "I-I'm sorry Yoon..." you apologize, holding his hand that's on your face.

Yoongi shakes his head and presses his forehead against yours. "Don't be sorry. We all get bad dreams." He says. "And I'll be here to save you from them."

You nod your head.

"Would you like me to hold you?"

You nod your head again and nuzzle into his embrace, hugging him tightly.

He hugs you back and pulls the covers over you both to help you feel protected. "You're okay now." He whispers before kissing your forehead and watching you to make sure you go back to sleep.
