"I don't get it." Bennett thought to himself. Sunday night, he was laying in bed, trying to sleep. He was turning over and over. He couldn't sleep. For the past hour he's been doing this, and he wasn't the only one. Fischl was in her bed. Every once in a while she would kick her blanket around. She took a deep breath, then opened her phone. He scrolled around then went to contacts. He went to Bennett, then did nothing. Bennett was doing the same vice-versa.

The Next Day...

Bennett was in a full sprint. He was running late. As he was running, he watched as someone quickly caught up beside him.

"Faster!" Chongyun exclaimed.

"Chongyun!? You too? You're never late!" Bennett exclaimed.

"I stayed up too late last night." He replied. The two kept running until they got to school. The bell had already rung. They stopped running when they got to the gates. They snuck around and glanced past the front gates. There, a man with red hair stood.

"We have to avoid him." Bennett said. This man was named Diluc. He worked at the school. Bennett had no clue what he did, but all he knew was that he was the punishment for being late.

"Agreed. We should distract him." Chongyun said. Bennett nodded. He picked up a small rock and threw it.

"Ow-" Diluc said.

"Don't hit him!" Chongyun whisper yelled.

"Sorry! I have bad aim!" Bennett replied.

"Or good depending on the context." Xingqiu said. Chongyun nodded, then turned to him.

"Why are you late too!?" Bennett whisper shouted.

"Read too long." He said. The three looked around the gate again.

"I got this. Watch a perfect student in action." Xingqiu said. He opened a book and started walking towards the front doors to the school.

"He's doomed." Chongyun said. Bennett and Chongyun paid their respects as Xingqiu walked past Diluc.

"Hey. Why are you late?" Diluc asked. Xingqiu turned to Diluc, looking up from his book.

"Well you know, I don't usually get here late. I had something happen on my way here!" Xingqiu exclaimed, shutting his book. Diluc stared at him.

"Basically, this man had stolen this person's purse! He ran from here to here!" Xingqiu explained, using his hands as gestures. He was gesturing to Bennett and Chongyun. The two nodded as they started to sneak past him.

"And basically... uh... I stopped him!" Xingqiu said, proud of himself.

"Proof?" Diluc asked. Everyone froze.

"What?" Xingqiu asked.

"Proof of what you did? You can't just make an excuse like that without a note or something." Diluc said. Xingqiu looked up at him as he towered him.

"Uh... I- uh..." He was trying to get out.

"We're sorry Xingqiu." Bennett and Chongyun thought. Diluc took Xingqiu to the office as Bennett and Chongyun hid...

"Alright! Now we're free!" Bennett exclaimed, running forward. As he ran to turn a corner, someone grabbed his arm.

"Chongyun, what is it?" Bennett asked, turning around. Chongyun was there, but the person holding his arm was Fischl.

"F-Fischl!?" Bennett asked.

"Shhh." Fischl said, pointing at the corner. All three turned the corner to see Lisa standing in the hall.
