Hello all.
So I'm almost finished with my first full playthrough of Horizon Forbidden West, and...I did NOT expect to LOVE Kotallo this much! The man stole my heart like a thief on Black Friday and has yet to give it back. Unfortunately, while the quality of Kotallo fanfiction on the internet is fantastic, the quantity is rather low, hence my decision to write this in an effort to offer people a fun story with our favorite Marshall and to give myself a crack at writing for one of my all-time favorite games.
However, while this fanfiction is primarily a romance, it is, at heart, a full-fleshly out story spanning the entirety of Horizon Forbidden West. I hope that I'll not only be able to write a convincing romance for my man Kotallo, but also delve into the characters of Horizon's world and deliver a satisfying narrative.
That said, I obviously don't own anything related to Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West. (If I did, Aloy would be getting a much-deserved break and would've married Avad already, sorry not sorry) As such, none of these characters belong to me except my OC, Orea and I stand to make no profit off this story. All of this is just in good fun.
