Best Friends are angels,
That God sent along.
They always stay beside you,
Whenever things go wrong.

We started out as strangers
Unknown to each other
But knowing you is a blessing
And meeting you was a game changer

I'll always stand by your side
And in darkness I'll bring you light
You're the home wherein I reside
And I'll be yours
Where you'll always be loved and given the courage to fight

You are my best friend
The one that brightens my day
The one that cheers me up,
The one that's here to stay
If not in person but surely as a beautiful star faraway
Who will remain in my heart forever till the end of the days
