I sit there, waiting. But what am I waiting for? Is it death? That would seem to be the right answer, yet, It didn't seem like what I was waiting for. Surrounded by nothing but my own thoughts, they are neverending.

The dream of going somewhere, yet, there would be nowhere to go outside these padded walls. It becomes hard to remember colors when all you see is white. What color was the grass again? What did grass feel like? Is it soft or prickly, maybe both? I think I remember it being itchy. The only color I remember off the top of my head is red. I still remember that day clearly, I got a little bored of seeing white, everywhere I looked was white even when I closed my eyes. It started to overwhelm me and before I knew it, blood started dripping down, I had bitten through my cheek. It had been a while since I saw the color red, I never got to see it again after being transferred into this padded room. I never was able to understand why a bunch of doctors and guards started rushing into my room, I mean sure it hurt a little but they looked so worried, why though? I mean it was a big day! I got to see a color other than white, or black from the security or a light blue from the doctor's shirts. Though, I guess it had been a while since I've seen any of those colors as well. I guess those pussy's couldn't handle someone having a good day and rushed me into a room with a bunch of medical supplies. That was a good day. But now here we are, again only ever seeing white, with a mouth guard so I don't bite my cheek again.

Some who are in my situation might stay strong and never let their thoughts get to them, still hanging on to their pride. You might think I have a sliver of my pride still hanging on somewhere, but I lost that last bit a long time ago. I don't have anything left, you might think that I don't have any more pride left to lose but you'd be wrong, it started to go into the negatives not long ago. It's very degrading to have someone spoon-feed you while two guards are grabbing onto you and eyeing you like a hawk. It's a neverending cycle.
