7. Race day

Julia

I sat in the Prema garage waiting for race number 2 to start. I was nervous as hell since I didn't want anything to happen to Paul or Dino.

It has only been a few days since I met Dino again after 2 years but when we kissed I felt it was something there and when we met up i have had a good time.

Dino was starting P6 and Paul P21 so I was hoping for a good race from both of them and that Paul can score points.

Then I heard "It's lights out and away we go".

Neither Paul or Dino had a good start but it was still hope for dino at least until i saw his car spinning out. my heart stopped for a minute. It was just a spin but he needed to retire from the race. I want to go meet him and see how he is because it's never fun to not finish a race. It's still 20 minutes before the race is over and Dino was probably in the garage already so I walked out of the Prema garage to go meet him.

I walked to the Mumbai Falcons garage. I didn't know where I could find Dino so I asked someone for help.

"Hey, do you know where I can find Dino?" I asked.

The man I asked turned around and looked at me and said,

"Who are you?"

"I'm Julia Aron, sister of Paul Aron and a good friend of Dino" i said hoping it would help

"Well I could show you the way to his room but I will wait until he opens the door just to be sure" he said.

I just smiled and said "okay".

When we were at the door with the name Dino Beganovic on, I knocked on the door but got no answer and the man just looked at me.

I knocked on the door again and said "Dino it's me Julia".

After a few seconds the door opened.

"Come in," he said, offering a little smile.

I walked into the room and then he closed the door.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I came to see you because I wanted to see how you are" i said looking at him

"I'm okay i guess" he said with a disappointed and hurt voice.

I didn't say anything, I just stepped forward and hugged him.

He hugged me back and stood like that for a bit before he pulled away.

He just looked me in the eyes and then he leaned in.

our lips met and i got butterflies in my stomach.

I took my arms around his neck while he held me tight around my waist.

I could feel his tongue on my bottom lip so I knew he wanted more so I opened my mouth, and when I felt his tongue in my mouth I guided mine into his mouth.

We kissed for a bit longer then we pulled away to catch our breaths.

We just smiled at each other.

"I need to go now before the race is over," I said.

"Yeah, I'll see you later?" he said.

"Yeah" I answered and leaned in and gave him a last kiss.

"Good luck for the next race" I said and walked out of the room.

I walked into the prema garage and saw that Paul was jumping out of the car.

I walked up to him and said "better luck next time i'm still proud of you".
