ESCAPE [CHAPTER 1]

''Saan siya?'' tanong ko kay Jane— ''Sinong siya ?'' taas kilay na tanong pabalik ni Leo.

I thought I'm with Jane! Why am I with Leo? ''Si Jane, nasaan siya?'' i asked, ''And why are you looking for Jane?'' he asked too. 

I got pissed because of his attitude, ''Because I thought I'm with her! Teka nga! why are you so suplado today?''

''Wow! You said ''Let's find him'', and suddenly drag me all over here. I just come with you without even a single clue who the guy you are referring to'' he said, putting emphasis on the word wow, him, and guy. Uhh, seriously?

''I'm sorry, okay? Now, you can go and I'll find Jane.'' I said but he suddenly grab my wrist. ''Sino ba kasi yung guy na tinutukoy mo?'' he sound annoyed.  ''Nothing! Why do you want to know anyway?'' I irritably asked him. 

He change his expression, he smiled at me. ''Because I'm your friend, like hello? It's me! Leo Daniel Cruz, the one and only.'' he laugh. I rolled my eyes at him, he's a weirdo sometimes.

''HEY! sorry Maisie, I guess I'm a little late he-he'' Jane was panting, I think she ran through the whole school to find me. ''And why are you late?'' tinarayan ko siya kunwari. ''Filipino time hehe, kasalanan mo rin. Idol mo ata si Dora the Explorer, kung saan saan ka napapadpad!'' Sinisi pa ako na late siya aba! ''Who's Dora?'' Leo innocently asked.

Napatanganga nalang kami sa kaniya, like seryoso? He doesn't know who Dora the Explorer is? ''Taga saang planeta ka, at paano naman na hindi mo kilala si Dora?!'' Jane sound offended, ''I'm from earth, but I don't know who is the girl you talking about.'' he answered and our jaws dropped.

''Basta she's ultra mega bulag, she liked adventures, always goes out without telling her parents, kung saan saan napapadpad...'' Jane said while glaring at me, ''... Always with her monkey friend, Boots—'' 

''And who will name their pet Boots? Does the monkey wear boots or something?'' Leo cuts her off, Jane glared at him ''Yes, and please shut up I'm not finish yet'' Jane said and continue describing Dora. ''She speaks Espanyol, short hair, she also have a purple backpack, a talking map guiding her adventure, she also have some animal friends and a fox named Swiper who steal things but she always says ''Swiper no swiping! '' so the fox will not steal something from her''. 

''A talking map? Since when people have that kind of thing? A fox who steals things? Swiper no swiping? Seriously?'' Leo said almost laughing but Jane glared at him. ''Idol niyo?'' Leo asked, holding his laugh as much as he can. ''Of course not!'' we both said. ''Stop laughing! We just describe to you who Dora is, It's a childhood cartoon for the most of the Filipinos so it's imposible that you didn't know who she is'' Jane defends herself. ''What do you mean we? Ikaw lang mukhang high blood dito kaka describe kay Dora, mukhang Idol na idol mo Jane ah. Halata naman na tinuturo mo ang pinapahanap ni Dora kahit sa harap niya na at nag e-espanyol karin noon.'' sabi ko at napatawa. Pati narin si Leo napatawa, nainis naman si Jane sa amin.

''Kilala ko naman si Dora, di ko naman akalain na mag dedescribe ka jan HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA'' dag dag pa ni Leo, ''Mga gago!'' inis na sabi ni Jane sa amin.

Bakit napunta sa Dora ang usapan, dapat hahanapin na namin si Taurus boy eh, ''Tara na nga! Hanapin na natin yung lalaki!'' aya ko. ''Naks mukhang love at first sight si Miss Scorpio, Leo oh lumalablayp na!'' Tawa ni Jane may pa siko siko pa kay Leo, kita naman ang inis ng isa. Malakas ata pagkakasiko ni Jane sa kaniya kaya nainis.
