yeonjun woke up from the smell of sweet pancakes and hot chocolate.

he brushed away all the tiredness in his eyes as he got up from his bed and stretched his whole body. "didn't know beom can cook." he smiled to himself and went downstairs to join his brother...

but his smile dropped and his feet were glued on the floor together with his heart throbbing out his mouth.

"good morning" beomgyu greeted, gently pouring the insecticide on his pancakes. "surely you'll enjoy this hyung. i'm a great cook don't you see!" he smiled almost jumping.

yeonjun tried to walk slowly but his brother talked again.

"you're always the one who makes me breakfast. i just wanted to return the favor hyung. but it seems like you don't want it." he placed the insecticide beside the plate and looked at him directly in his eyes. "don't you love me, hyung?" there, he walked slowly to him.

"hyung!"

"y-yes! i love you!" his eyes were tearing up and took a step back everytime the younger stepped forward.

"eat what i made you, that i can know you really love me." beomgyu finally stood in front of him, caressing his cheeks and wiping his tears away before he kissed his forehead. "or i'll kill soobin myself."

yeonjun walked slowly and grabbed the pancake. he was obviously shaking in fear as he looked again at his brother who was cheerfully waiting for him to eat the poisoned breakfast he made. "go on hyung. i promise you'll like it"

yeonjun slowly brought the pancake in his mouth until...

"stop!"

beomgyu ran and hugged his hyung, almost couldn't breathe because he was crying hard. "i'm sorry. i'm sorry hyung. now i know you really love me." he snatched the pancake from his hand and threw it.

yeonjun hugged him back and there he also cried with him. "don't ever question my love for you beomgyu. i love you, you know that."

"don't love soobin more than me. that's all i ask." beomgyu lastly spoke before he broke the hug and wiped both of their tears.

"are you high?!" taehyun whisper-shouted. he couldn't believe what beomgyu had told him. it was 6 pm and both were inside beomgyu's room.

"no. i just wanted to test how much he loves me." he scoffed.

taehyun jumped on his bed and pulled his hyung by his feet and he dropped to the ground.

"ow! taehyun what was that for?!" he got up caressing his bottoms.

"would you also try to poison me if i ever tell you i love someone else?" the younger said in his most serious tone, causing the other to clear his throat and looked elsewhere.

there was an awkward 10 seconds silence before beomgyu couldn't take it and so he spoke.

"wh- what the fuck are you talking about taehyun?" he awkwardly turned around and went to his bed and covered his body with his blanket.

"hyung, don't hide. i clearly saw you blushed." taehyun snorted as he say beside him.

"shut it."

"ok. but seriously hyung, don't ever do that again." he watched beomgyu lowered the blanket and soon their eyes met. "promise me." he brought his pinky finger in front and the other didn't hesitate to lock the promise with his'

"i promise."

taehyun nodded and smiled and stared at their pinkys. "you hand's kinda cold hyung what's wrong?"

beomgyu quickly removed his hand away from him and covered his head again with the blanket. "time for you to leave taehyun."

the younger chuckled and hugged beomgyu who was covered in his blanky. "hyung can i sleep here with you?" he felt him nod so he hugged him tightly.

"do you have any other friends?" beomgyu suddenly asked. both were staring at the ceiling trying to sleep, but couldn't.

"no." taehyun answered. "i only have you."

he felt his cheeks burned and quickly turned off the lamp beside him to hide his red cheeks. "b-better? i guess?"

"why did you ask?"

"nothing."

he suddenly felt an arm wrapped around his waist but didn't dare to speak nor remove it, instead he let him. besides, he wants him to feel comfortable whenever they're together.

"i just want a hug hyung, no homo."

beomgyu let out the loudest snort he had ever made and both laughed until they fell asleep.
