I looked everyone were pumped up and tried to impress the captain's so they would be chosen by them.I already knew that Asta would win this fight against Sekke.Everyone competed each other and that's good I guessed.Hmm...those who picked me just now was a fire user.Well that's not good for my affinity but at least I tried.

After few matches,it was my turn with that pyro user.Her grimoire quite interesting as kinda cool.I doubt she came from Noble family.She asked my name politely.Wow a noble asked me a peasant politely.Thats rare and I don't feel any fake stuff from her.

"My name is Zane Gwyneria"I said

"Such a beautiful name.Hmm meaning of  snow and ice right."she smiled.

I nodded.Okay this got weird.She then introduced herself as Amber Ignis.Okay that's made me more curious.Maybe I should asked her detail after this match
Our match began and both of our Grimoires flipped pages.

"Fire Magic:Fire Roar"Amber erupted fire from her mouth.

"She quite strong.Thats awesome.I need to be more serious.Ice Magic:Ice Spike"I launched several ice spikes towards her.

Amber just punched easily my attack and  I could tell she covered her hand with her mana.Thats made me impressive.She launched fireworks towards me made me plunged back...yikes that musta hurt.

"Cmon that's all what you got"Amber giggled.

Girl your so badass huh.I without hesitation ran towards her and both of us decided to hand to hand combat made everyone astonished.Amber managed to hit her fire punch on my stomach.I without wasting time hit her punched her stomach with my palm.Her body started to frost.

"Way to go Zane.But can you dodged this.Fire Magic:Fire Tornado"Amber said

Holy isekai!!...everyone were shocking even the captain especially Captain Fuegoleon.

"Oii are you crazy.You gonna kill people here"I screamed.

"So you need to stop it hehehe...cmon Jack Frost"Amber laughed

Eh Jack Frost???....I knew it she was like me ..another one who being isekai here.She looked at me with 'we need to talk'.I nodded.

"Ice Magic:Ice Blast!!"I chanted spell and shoot towards the fire tornado.

Two power collided made explosion and I without hesitation casted Ice Shield  to everyone.I knelt as this was my first time I used half of my mana pool to do this.I decided to close my eyes as I was really tired.The last thing I heard was Asta voice and Amber voice.

I opened my eyes.It was dusk and I could see participants assembled altar.Oh yeah it was time captains for recruitment newbie.I noticed I leaned against the wall.

"Hey glad you are okay.Haha sorry bout what happen just now.I really excited finally I meet someone that like me ."Amber smiled.

"What do you mean Amber ?"I asked her

"Spill the tea.You aren't from here.Theres no name like Zane Gwyneria here...you are alike me.Being isekai right"Amber poked my cheek.

"Stop it.Yeah you are right.So how do you come here...by accident or you know"I said.

"Common accident..but not truck or bus.Well..i died in cruise..you know pirate hijacking"Amber sighed.
