Chapter 12

Y/n's pov
"Camilo, what are you doing?" Carlos cood sarcastically. "I thought your Abuela told you not to go-" Camilo cut him off with a right hook to the jaw. "CAMILO WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" I scream out in shock as Carlos holds his jaw angrily before smacking Camilo and grabbing a fist full of his hair "fucking lay your filthy hands on me again and I'll fuck your whole life up" Carlos growled into Camilo's ear as he squirmed. "Carlos get off him" i say with a stern look, Carlos smirked, "Oh piss off Y/n your little boyfriend can hardly even remember you" Camilo looked at the floor guilty before Carlos shoved him over. "That's your fault asshole, can you just fucking leave!" I shout back, watching Camilo steady to his feet. "feisty, hm? I can see why Camilo likes you" Carlos smirked at me which just made me angrier.

Camilo's POV
"Oh piss off y/n your little boyfriend can hardly even remember you" i looked down at the floor guilt taking over me. He was right, i wasn't even strong enough to defend my memories let alone myself physically. Carlos shoved me to the floor, i just stayed the staring at the floor. It's my fault, i should've listened to what y/n was trying to tell me for Tio Bruno. "That's your fault asshole, can you just fucking leave!" Y/n shouts as i get up and steady myself. "Feisty, hm? I can see why Camilo likes you" Carlos smirked at Y/n, she looked livid. "Carlos fuck off before i tell the village about what you've been doing" I stay glaring at him. "I can erase there fucking memories Camilo, i can make them forget you told them anything. I'll make them forget completely about you" Carlos smirked before walking off. "Camilo we don't have time! We need to get to your Abuela now before he makes everyone forget!" Y/n says grabbing my wrist and running. A few minty later it started raining, Carlos must've done something to mama. When we approached the house i slowly pushed open the big blue doors and walked in, it was really quiet for once, A bit too quiet.. "Y/n, go to my room I'm gonna look for Tio Bruno" i say staring into her eyes "what!? No I'm helping Camilo!" Y/n have shouts before walking up the stairs towards the rooms, i stay downstairs looking around ever little area. As i was walking around i came to the kitchen and heard some voices. That sounds like mama and papa. As i peeked my head in the colour in my face drained and my papa stared at me, his eyes full of fear before quickly looking back at Carlos. "What have you done to my son!?" Mama said not too loud as not to draw attention from the other family members. "You don't have a son pepa?" Carlos stated, i felt my fists ball up in anger, "where's fucking Camilo, Carlos!?" Papa shouted at Carlos. Carlos just sighed before raising his hand getting ready to my papa. I instantly sprung towards him shoving him onto the floor and beating his face with my fists. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Abuela yelled while standing in the doorway of the kitchen, "HE WAS GOING TO HIT THEM" i shout staring up at Abuela, she was livid, was she gonna hit me again after this? "He was just defending us Mama, Carlos leave" Pepa shouted back, defending me as i stared back down at Carlos's bloody and beaten face. "What's that necklace mean" i say to Carlos picking it up while still around his neck, examining the small glass orb. It has green glowing liquid, flowing around like water. As i went to pull it closer Carlos snatched it out my hand and shoved it down his poncho and glares up at me.

Y/n's pov
I ran up the stairs and ran straight to Dolores's door, Camilo didn't follow. I knocked and went in, dolores and bruno were talking before Bruno turned to smile at me. "Y/n! We found out how Carlos's gift works! He carries an enchanted necklace, it's his version of our miracle candle! If we break it then his gift will fade, i was thinking we give him a chance to give us our memories of you back and leave first but we need to steal it we aren't too sure how" he smiles "take it while he's sleeping, easy" i smirk "perfect! Let's go tell Camilo" Dolores says and we all walk towards the door, "he's in the kitchen" Dolores says leading us to the stairs and follow Dolores to the kitchen. I feel my jaw drop as i see Carlos's bloody face and Camilo ontop off him "he was defending us Alma! He done nothing wrong Carlos was in the wrong, he should leave" Felix shouted at Alma. "So Carlos, you still haven't answered my question what is this" Camilo pulls the necklace out his poncho by the string. "CAMILO GRAB IT" Bruno shouts as Camilo looked confused. He grabbed it while Carlos squirmed under him trying to push him off and grab it back. "Catch" Camilo says and tosses it to Bruno. He grabbed it and threw it down hard and suddenly everyone past out except Carlos and Alma
"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" Abuela screams at me
