Weeks after weeks passed by with the eternal flow of time.
So as the thread of our hearts pulling us momentarily close and close.
An unparalleled magnetic force.
I was so happy.
The paleness of my eyes were replaced by a new kind of vivid glowing.
But yours started to pale.
Once I asked you what was the reason of 'Do you want my money too?' back then.
But regretted as soon as i saw how your shoulders slumped down as if battling an inner turmoil.
I knew that look.
Tears filled my eyes as i kept you close to my chest, our soft sobs consumed.
"Please don't. I love you so much it hurts to see you in pain, my Alex." I whispered and pretty sure you didn't catch it.
We stared into each other's eyes, wiping each stain with so much gentleness like a glass doll had been caressed by the fear of being broken.
"I loved this place so much. The fresh air, birds chirping, the garden, everything. So i bought this land by myself and as a successful businessman, money was never be a burden.
My elder brother had an eye over this, for making a factory there and as he hadn't such good reputation in the business world they denied him.
But as the days passed his jealousy over me increased. And the worst was my parents also supported him over me. They kept harassing me to name over my properties to them. I did. Thinking now they might love me again. But they never did."
An angry look crossed your face but was easily replaced by a painful smile, a smile when our anguish crossed its limits.
"Was I not enough for them that they'd to choose money over me?" You sobbed like a child.
Cupping your cheek i urged you to look at me.
"You're enough. A thousand times enough."
For me, for us.
And we kissed.
