A dangerous path Bia was treading on, while she turned over on 11th Kobi Avenue, she parked her car adjacent of the house - with the street lamps illuminating the surrounding area and giving an eerie feel to the neighborhood as no one was outside and it was all quiet .
'It must have rained a couple hours ago' she thought as she noticed the moist atmosphere, checking her wrist watch its a little bit past 7:00pm, taking a deep breath she tries to control her erratic heart beats - she was scared silly and that was an understatement. She looked across her seat to grab her bag and then made to get down from her car, with slow and steady steps she crossed the street and came to the front door she has been dreading, trying to convince her self all the way through the short walk the she made the right choice, as she reached for the door bell to announce her arrival the door swung open much to her dismay.
'I thought you'd never get down from that car' Mrs Penelope said with a mocking smile
'Hi mum, I was on the phone that's why I delayed a bit' Bia replied with a small smile she painfully mustered
'I'm sure you were, well come in already before you catch a cold out there' said Mrs Penelope as she gave way while opening the door wider for Bia to come through
'I can do this, it's all in the past, things have changed and I'm a grown woman now' Bia chanted like a mantra, only if she believed half of it.
