"You alright (Y/n)?" Draco asked him as he reached the top of the stairs once more, the diary still in his hands.

The room had been emptied out now except for him, Draco, Tom, and another ministry official who was there to give compensation for the damages done to the bar.

"Yeah... yeah I'm alright." (Y/n) said slipping the book into his arm. "Hey be a pal and don't tell anyone about this book."

"Sure thing." Draco said, sounding confused. (Y/n) knew Draco wouldn't rat him out they'd been through too much together.

"Look (Y/n)." The ministry official said walking up to him. "Good job on those captures."

"Thanks Benedict, but it wasn't just me Draco here helped a lot as well." (Y/n) said making sure that Draco got the credit he deserved.

"Well naturally of course." Benedict said nodding to Draco. "I'm glad you were able to capture Ben (L/n), he's been playing a bit part in recruitment. Hopefully this'll slow down the growth of the Dark Remnants."

"Yeah I hope so too." (Y/n) said his mind somewhere else. "Well Draco and I should get going, we've got a lot of paperwork to fill out I'm sure."

And with a flourish of his hand (Y/n) turned and walked out of the pub, Draco walking next to him.

"Well back to the office then?" (Y/n) asked after they had gotten into the car, as he turned the ignition starting the engine.

"Yeah, just not so fast this time alright." Draco said, looking a little pale.

"Alright alright." (Y/n) slowly pulling away from the curb.

...

"Hey you wanna grab lunch soon mate?" Ron asked peaking his head into (Y/n)'s office.

"Huh oh yeah sure just give me a bit to finish this." (Y/n) said putting his quill down.

"What's this?" Ron asked, having fully entered his office now, and picking up the book he'd found in the leaky cauldron.

"Hmm?" (Y/n) said, not paying attention as his scanned over his report.

"This, it looks like some type of diary- oops sorry mate." Ron said as an old piece of parchment, yellowed with age fell out of the book.

"Don't worry." (Y/n), summoning the loose piece of parchment to his hand. "I found that in the leaky cauldron."

"You know you're not supposed to be taking evidence from the crime scenes." Ron told him sternly.

"Oh just read the cover." (Y/n) told him, smoothing out the parchment on the desk.

"Elizabeth H. (L/n)... is this some relative of yours? An ancestor or something?"

"Call me crazy but I think it's Hermes, she had a diary just like that." (Y/n) said, thinking back to the battle.

"No way mate, this thing is ancient!" Ron said turning it around in his hands.

"I know I know, but well she didn't make much sense anyway... hey why are you here anyway didn't you have a date with Lav?" (Y/n) asked him, getting to his feet.

"Yeah about that..." Ron said.

(Y/n) rolled his eyes. "What'd you do this time?"

"It wasn't my fault!" Ron said outraged. "It's just that the Chudley Cannons were playing-"

"That explains it then." (Y/n) said with a laugh.

"Look if you don't want to get lunch I'll just ask Harry-"
