After eating our super healthy breakfast, Mark and I decided to put on a film, more specifically... The Nightmare Before Christmas. By far my favorite movie (yes this is true irl). We grabbed a ton of blankets and got comfortable on the couch. Mark made some popcorn and got two cans of Pepsi before sitting down. Remembering Mark likes to sing...this is going to be fun.

"THERE ARE FEW WHO DENY IT, WHAT I DO I AM THE BEST, FOR MY TALENTS ARE RENOWNED FAR AND WIDE! WHEN IT COMES TO SURPRISES IN THE MOONLIT NIGHT, I EXCEL WITHOUT EVER EVEN TRYING!!!" I sang with Liz. I thibk we've both seen this movie too many times.

*time skip*
After watching many more movies, I realized that Liz had fallen asleep and somehow managed to put her head in my lap. I smiled and picked her up as if she was a bride. I carried her to my room and laid her down under the covers. I kissed her head gently.
"goodnight, beautiful." I whispered. The corners of her mouth upturned into a small smile. As I was about to walk out the door I heard her mumble something into her pillow.
"What was that?" I questioned. She lifted her head, and said,
"Could you stay with me?" She asked in a cute sleepy voice. Without responding, I walked back and slid my body (that sounds weird xD) under the covers. I put my arms around her waist and she put hers on my chest. I lightly kissed her temple and fell asleep. The lyrics from The Nightmare Before Christmas rang in my head.
"It's simply ment to be."
Eek! This is such a short chapter but it is probably my favorite so far! I'll try to make longer chapters, but...life happens. I just rarely have time to write anymore...so so sorry! But, I will NOT give up on this story! I love you guys and thank you for your support!
But don't burn down your houses while I'm gone...SEE YA!
