*the girls appear back in the Vault of Lost Tales in front of Giles*
Giles- *relieved*
Apple- *to Briar, Faybelle, Blondie, Cedar, and Ashlynn* This is Giles Grimm, the Headmasters brother.
*the others look in shock*
Blondie- *concerned* Why is he down here? And how long has he been down here?
Raven- *shrugs* No one knows, he was cursed and only speaks Riddlish, and only Maddie can understand him.
Maddie- *hands him the pages with glee*
Giles- *holds the group of pages in the air*
*the pages glow in golden aura and lift up in the air and everyone looks in shock*
* the pages combine in the air and form a solid scroll looking spell*
Raven Queen: * grabs the solid parchment* *confused* That doesn't look like the Storybook of Legends.
Faybelle- *looks at it* It looks like a spell...on real solid parchment.
Ashlynn Ella: *confused* Well, what does it say?
*everyone looks in curiosity*
Giles- *crosses his fingers*
*Raven and Faybelle share a glance and nods*
Raven/Faybelle: *in unison* 'Speech return, words you say; break this curse for our new day'!
*everyone looks around confused as nothing happens*
Briar Beauty: *looks around* Nothing happened.
Faybelle- *annoyed* You mean we did all that for nothing?
Giles Grimm: * smiles* But it did; you retrieved the pages so you could break my curse.
*the girls gasp in shock*
Madeline Hatter: He says we retrieved the pages—*gasps*—Giles! You can talk! Like, everyone can understand you talk! *hugs him*
Giles Grimm: Yes, Madeline. And for that I thank you, all of you! *sincerely* It took extraordinary courage for you to face those challenges - you are all accredited to your stories.
*the girls smile happily*
Apple White: *her smile fades* But, Mr. Grimm, if we weren't searching for the Storybook of Legends, do you know where it is?
Giles Grimm: No...but I know who took it! *serious*
Cedar Wood: *curious* Who?
*Giles seriously looks at Raven which prompts the other girls to look at her*
Raven- *confused and concerned*
Giles Grimm: *serious* ...The Evil Queen.
Raven Queen: *shocked* My mother?
Faybelle- *glares at Raven* And now it all makes sense...
Raven- *glares back at her then looks at Giles*
Giles Grimm: *explosion noise signaling mind blown*
Raven Queen: *confused* My mother stole the Storybook of Legends. Why?
Faybelle- *glares* It's obvious, Queen. She wanted to be the ultimate villain and take over starting with my mom's story!
Giles Grimm: *admits* Ms. Thorn is partially correct. I do not know why, but I can tell you this: years ago, your mother tried to expand beyond her story, and bring evil to all the tales.
*the mirror plays back an incident years ago with The Evil Queen appearing before The Storybook of Legends and she breaks the glass and takes the real book and replaces it with the fake*
Playback of Evil Queen: *cackles evily*
*Apple, Briar, Cedar, Ashlynn, Blondie cower in fear*
*Faybelle scowls at the young Evil Queen*
*Raven facepalms and sighs*
*Maddie puts her hand on Raven's shoulder in comfort*
Giles Grimm: And after...Wonderland, my brother, Baba Yaga and I stopped her and trapped her in the Mirror Realm.
Raven- *looks down in concern and anger*
Blondie Lockes:*confused* But why are you down here?
Giles Grimm: *admits* Oddly enough, because of my brother.
*the girls look in shock*
Ashlynn Ella: What! Why?
Giles Grimm: *explains* While I always respected our fairytale past, I also thought, that each of us should be able to write our own destinies while he believed that everyone had to follow their fated destinies.
Cedar Wood: *realizes* And the Headmaster didn't like that.
Giles Grimm: Indeed he did not. He cursed me with that babble spell and imprisoned me here.
Raven- *glares* Typical.
Apple: *sincere* But your curse is lifted now.
*the others nod*
Giles Grimm: *smiles* Yes! Thanks to you extraordinary girls! *announces* Now, come. Thronecoming is almost upon us!
Apple White: *smiles* Are you coming with us?
Giles Grimm: *chuckles* Well, now. I haven't been to a party in ages! I wouldn't know what to wear.
Blondie: *excited*We'll help!
All except Briar: *giggles*
Briar- *grins nervously but looks down and follows them out*
Giles Grimm: *laughs*
