It was a typical Tuesday for Ezra O'Brien. They were decently famous, with a good following. Stating the fact they and Pokimane were friends, they had gained quite the following. It was just a normal day though. Nothing special, they had recently dropped out of college after they decided it was too much effort to study neuroscience and go into the medical field. Way too much work.
Ezra was just scrolling through their Instagram when he was getting a call from one of their friends, Pokimane. "Well I obviously have nothing else to do.." they whispered to themselves. They decided to answer the requested call. "Hello?" they answered. "HEYYYY WHATS UPPPP" Poki shouted through the phone. "Nothing to be honest" Ezra paused then continued, " Today has been so boorrinngg" Ezra finished with a groan. "WELL. I could make your day more interestingGGg~" Poki said in an excited voice. "How?" Ezra asked. "Well, it's basically the only reason I called you-" Poki deadpanned, "BUT ANYWAYS, I wanted to ask if you'd like to play some Resident Evil with me and some others?" Poki asked. "I mean I have nothing to do today, so sure," Ezra replied, "If you don't mind me asking, who are the others?"
"Well, I know for sure Sean, Felix, Toast, and Corpse are playing-" ... " CORPSE!?" Ezra interrupted. "Yes," Poki smirked," I knew you'd be excited," she said with a grin. "OF COURSE I WOULD- OMG-" Ezra screamed through the other side of the phone. "ANYWAYS. Now that you're done with your fangirling," .. "where was I.., OH. Yeah, So, those bunch I mentioned earlier are playing.." Ezra was just sitting there on the other end fantasizing, completely ignoring what Poki was saying. "EZRAAAA" Poki screamed. "yes co- I mean, huh, Oh yes Poki?" Ezra replied snapping out of their trance. "WERE YOU EVEN LISTENING!!???" Poki shouted through the phone. "Uh-" Ezra tried to think of an excuse but didn't want to say what they were thinking about. A blush of embarrassment grew upon their face. "Ugh. Anyways, babes, the stream is at 4:00, it's currently 2:30, so hustle to get ready, you sound like you've been smoking weed for 70 years" Poki said with squinted eyes. "Yeah yeah, I'll join you guys," .. " by the way..is Resident Evil that one horror game with like that big tittied vampire lady-?" Ezra questioned. "I- Yes, it is, NOW LET ME GET READY FOR MY STREAM, it takes work to be this beautiful" Poki said, Ezra cringed. "Yeah okay, bye." Ezra replied, "HEY! W-", Ezra hung up before Poki could finish.
Not even 4 seconds later they were getting a whole shit ton of messages from Poki. Ezra chuckled and shook their head. "I'm gonna get ready for the stream" Ezra replied to Poki's texts and shut off their phone.
Ezra hurried up the stairs to go freshen up for the stream. They smelt themselves and almost puked. "Holy- I need a shower," they said to themselves. After their shower, they got dressed and went into their recording room. (fancy ;} )
They set up their area whilst picking up a few things and organizing their desk. They then got a text from Poki asking if they'd like to join the Discord call early.
