Bee and Mitchell were your typical, average roommates. They pulled pranks on each other in various different ways, some mean, some in a teasing way, some serious and irritating. The two fought about stupid little things such as, who bought the groceries that week, who was to wash the dishes after breakfast, lunch and dinner, and who was doing the laundry for the evening.
In all seriousness, Bee and Mitchell were rarely ever seperated, unless it was a major family event, or a special day to themselves and other friends. The two were so different from each other, but also got along so well.
It was currently 6:30am in Melbourne, Australia. Bee was sound asleep in her big comfy bed, snuggled deeply under her many soft blankets, while Mitchell on the other hand was already wide awake. Which was odd for him.
Mitchell loved his naps and long sleeps. But today, he just couldn't sleep anymore. So he decided to wake up early, and take the advantage of taking a long shower, and relaxing in the quietness of their apartment.
Bee liked to hog the bathroom in the mornings. So Mitchell either had to wait forever, or get up super early just to use the washroom. Living with a girl sometimes had its downfalls, but it also had its advantages.
Bee loved cooking the food, and couldnt stand when the apartment was a mess. She couldnt cope when there were clothes and pillows scattered all over the floor. It needed to be clean enough for her standards, so Mitchell eventually gave up trying to clean. Bee made great food. Mitchell did as well, but if Bee was offering to cook him any type of meal, he would accept it and repay the favour later on in the week, taking her out for a friendly dinner, or ordering a pizza, and paying for the two of them.
Mitchell got out of the shower and threw on some nice clothes, a plain black t-shirt with a red cardigan over top. He topped the look off with blue jeans. Bee loved it when Mitchell took the time in the morning to make himself presentable. Bee's rule for herself, was to dress as if you were going in for work everyday, which is part of the reason Bee always took forever in the morning to get ready.
Walking to the kitchen, Mitchell threw some bacon on the grill, and started frying up scrambled eggs, for the two of them to eat that morning. He was feeling good today, and decided to give something back to Bee.
Mitchell popped four pieces of toast into the four slot toaster, and set the table. He made sure to use placemats, and put the forks and knives on the proper sides of the table. He placed the warm bowl of scrambled eggs in the centre of the table, along with the plate of bacon. He made sure to put a paper towel under the bacon, to catch any grease that would drip off.
He placed two glasses infront of the plates, and filled them halfway up with milk. He slowly stood up from the table and walked to her room, gently knocking on the door, not wanting to invade her privacy. But she wouldn't wake up.
Mitchell slowly creaked the door open, knocking again. Bee was clearly in a very deep sleep. She usually woken up by any sound louder then a cat's meow.
"Bee..? Are you awake?" Mitchell whispered into the room. He noticed Bee's head start to bob, and he smiled. "I know you may be tired, considering you just woke up, but breakfast is on the table. Bacon, eggs, and toast!" He smiled and walked back into the kitchen, buttering the toast, and placing the pieces in a pile on a seperate plate.
Small footsteps were heard from down the hallway, and Mitchell's glance focused from his plate, to Bee's small figure. He smiled brightly at her. She was wearing the bee onesie that he had got her for her birthday. It looked so soft, and bee usually only wore the onesie when she wanted something, but she looked warm anyway.
"Good morning Straub..." She yawned quietly as she took a seat across the small table from him. She smiled weakly and started to serve herself her breakfast, as Mitchell copied her actions, allowing her to serve herself first, before he could take his servings of the food. "How did you sleep..?" She asked, yawning a little. She set her utensils down and rubbed her eyes. She clearly did not get enough sleep last night, and Mitchell could tell.
"I slept pretty great actually! I'm all showered and ready to start the day baby!" He said loudly. Bee flinched a bit from the loud noises, but she didn't care much. It was how Mitchell was all the time. When he talked to Graser, Brayden, or Sean, he was louder then ever.
Bee smiled kindly at him and took her phone out, taking a picture of the meal Mitchell had just made for her. She shut the phone back off and tucked it away in one of the large pockets of her onesie. "Any plans for today..?" Bee asked, curious to know.
"Not that I know of, I might record with Sean today, the viewers were asking for another fruity brothers video!" Bee and Mitchell did not have your typical, community involved, occupation. The two made gaming videos about a survival game called Minecraft. The two worked hard enough, that they earned and saved up enough of their earnings to make Youtube their full time job. "What about you Bee?"
Bee took a bite of her toast, placing some egg on top beforehand. She bit into the toasted piece of bread, and caught the crumbs with her fragile hand before they hit her lap. She dusted her hands off over her napkin, and bit into a piece of bacon. "I was hoping to go for a small shopping trip today, I need a new sundress. Mine are getting a bit warn down." Bee sighed gently. "If you dont wanna come, you can drop me off and come get me later, unless you feel like watching me try dresses on."
Straubs face lit up. "No no! I'll most definitely tag along! Besides, whats not a great day with my best friend, even if it is dress shopping. I'll be the critic of all the dresses!" Bee laughed a little. Mitchell was quite hilarious while shopping. He liked to fool around in the stores, and try random articles of clothing on for fun.
Bee smiled brightly at Mitchell, she was clearly happy that he decided to tag along. Bee liked it when she had someone to shop with. Even if it was a boy. She took Jeruhmi shopping often. The two both were into the style and trends these days, and she knew if was nice to get advice from some on who has a small passion for clothes.
Peckett and Jeruhmi were Mitchell and Bee's neighbors, and also gaming YouTubers. The four of them had a blast recording videos for their fans. They thought it was the best thing in the world. Making people smile everyday of the week, that was a feeling that no other feeling could replace. The four of them loved the thought that people looked up to them for advice, and just looked up to them in search of entertainment.
Mitchell and Bee finished their breakfast up quickly. "Bee, go shower. I got this!" Mitchell said to her, as he took one of the dirty plates from her small hands, rinsed it off, and placed it in the dishwasher.
"Are you sure?" She asked him kindly, and quietly. She smiled and grabbed a towel from the linen closet. She also grabbed a face cloth, so she was able to wash her face, and use the cloth to get moisturizers and such off of her body.
"Of course." Mitchell said to her, with a small smirk on his face. The smirk wasn't bad, but was in a mischievous kind of way. But he wasn't being mischevious at all. He cleared the plates and bowls off the table, washing every single dish off in bleach water, and piled them neatly into the dishwasher.
Mitchell then cleared all condiments from the table, such as syrup, ketchup, nutella, peanut butter, and margarine back to the kitchen. He placed all of the condiments with the exception of nutella and peanut butter, back into the fridge. He put the two left over jars back in the pantry, and washed down the table.
Bee would be proud of his clean up skills this time around!
